Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Zeus⚡ * With People: Can be a little shy at first. However, once he warms up to people and the environment, he becomes kind and gentle even if someone lifts or touches him unexpectedly. Appreciates human warmth and prefers to lie against or be touched by people. * With Dogs: Is getting along well with other dog friends at the Center! Sometimes acts a little aggressively, which leads to possible fights when he gets roused up during play with other dogs. Needs to be carefully watched when he plays with other dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed at the Center. Needs to be trained, getting accustomed to a family life. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: Enjoys being brushed. Initially resists having his nails trimmed, which he feels uncomfortable but accepts it once the nail trimming starts. * Walks: Slightly scared of a leash and needs to take time in wearing a leash. However, once outside, he does not pull it and walks well in whatever direction a walker pleases. * Car sickness: Has slight car sickness and drools a little. 💌Special Note💌 * Because all the dogs poop in the same area at the Center, Zeus has a habit of scatophagy. Any excrement should be cleaned right away. (Scatophagy can be remedied quickly with training at home.) * Is a bit afraid of the noises like automobiles or bikes. ❗❗Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and heartworm negative upon retest. * Missing his left ear due to a birth defect, but he has no problem with hearing!

Story
**He is currently in Seattle** Mukgoo is about 5 years old. He was found near an army base in Korea and immigrated to America around the age of 1 on President’s Day of 2020. He is an incredibly smart and lovable dog. He is kind and loves people (loves dogs and people). He will eat almost anything (except veggies). He can be a jumper when he gets very excited. He prefers households with another dog and a big yard to run around in but it’s not a non-negotiable. He has always adjusted well to whatever the circumstance. Overall, he’s a good dog and he’s got a lot of love to give. I’m having to give him up due to being unable to raise him in my current life stage. In no way, this is due to any bad behaviors or anything. He’s a really kind-hearted and sweet dog. Likes - He loves playing fetch (quickest way to his heart), rolling in the grass, puppycinos, ice cream, snow, people, dogs - Historically has liked lamb, fish skin, salmon, bully sticks, dental sticks, sweet potato, etc. In general, he loves to eat~ - Very social and prefers to greet other dogs and people, including dog parks, doggy day cares Dislikes - He dislikes bath but who does - He doesn’t like being alone but can manage a few hours if needed - No longer is a fan of veggies - Fireworks and big noises Things to Watch out for - Throwing up: If you let him freely eat grass, he’ll throw up. When he feels stressed, he can react by throwing up. - He can be independent when he is fixated on things. Just be patient with him and he will come back to focus on you. He is a people pleaser. - He rarely barks. He may bark when other dogs bark but even that is rare. He is more of a whiner. If he needs to let you know something, he will whine. - Not a counter surfer but can be if you let him Commands He knows his basic commands (sit, down, hand, etc.) and is open to learning new ones as well. Potty He is used to peeing and pooing outside. Once you create a regular spot and time for him, it’s clockwork. Otherwise, just be aware when he whines that it may be time to go. - At a high level, he knows “go potty” and “go poo” as a sign to go to the bathroom - He will rarely go pee or poo inside the home. Once in a million tries, a thing like that can happen during the night but he’s really sorry when he does. Leash He has never been fully off-leash, only in areas that condone it (home, backyard, dog park, etc.). He is not one to go off-leash and run away. He’ll run around and try to have you play with him. Keep him on a short leash if you need to focus on walking as he can veer away due to his interest in sniffing. Once on a short leash, he’ll understand and walk along. However, give him time to sniff as he is very curious with smells. Sleep He can sleep together or on his own if you’re in a different room or floor. He is also loves to cuddle up as well. When there’s fireworks, it’s recommended you sleep where he sees you because he’s afraid of the loud sounds. Food He is on one meal a day. If you give him two meals a day, he may not eat the first meal. Snacks though he loves. He knows how to sit and wait for food. He is currently on Costco’s salmon and sweet potato meal.

Story
My name is Tikki! I'm named after a pup in Paw Patrol! Could also be named happy, because just seem to have a happy smile when playing or cuddling. I'm very sweet love people and kids of all ages. I am good with cats too. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and rarely have an accident, so I'm pretty much potty trained. I love to play with toys. Treats are a favorite of mine. If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state

Story
Animal Profile: Hedwig is a 6 month old (DOB 12/16/23) Dutch Shepherd Malinois mix (DNA tested) female who was brought to Fresno Humane along with her littermates, who have been adopted. She was left behind and placed on bite quarantine for accidentally biting a volunteer who was playing with her with a waterhose (which is the most exciting thing ever to Hedwig). She is not aggressive but she is a typical high drive puppy and will need a breed savvy adopter to be her best self. We will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Hedwig is a little firecracker! She’s smart, eager to please, and a lot of fun to work with. She’s a friendly girl but can be shy when first meeting new people. It doesn’t take her long to warm up though. Hedwig is crate trained and house trained with a good routine. She loves to play with people and dogs, but can be a bit pushy with her plays style; she’d probably do best in a home with a balanced dog that would be able to tolerate and appropriately correct her when needed. Hedwig needs a dog savvy family in a single family dwelling and a securely fenced yard, she’ll be amazing at whatever task her new family sets before her!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Hedwig was surrendered to Fresno Humane along with her littermates on 5/16/2024 and transferred to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on June 30, 2024. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.November 19, 2024, 10:10 am

Story
Say hello to our dearest Kona! She is a kindhearted, loyal gal who is looking for her forever home. If you are hoping to provide a quiet and cozy spot for a senior gal, Kona is the dog for you! This beautiful lady with her powder sugared face is the team player–always ready to lend a paw as part of the "cleanup crew," patiently waiting to catch any stray crumbs from the table. Kona has impeccable house manners, is respectful of furniture, and loves to curl up in her bed for a cozy snooze. She’s got low maintenance, easy-going vibes, and is not a big barker.  Enjoying the simple pleasures in life, Kona loves to stop and smell the roses on her neighborhood walks. She appreciates being included in daily activities, whether it’s helping out in the garden or simply being by your side. In the backyard, you’ll find her happily sunbathing, playing short games of fetch, or indulging in the occasional round of zoomies. When her people are away, she’s content to lounge around the house and nap.  Kona’s ideal home would be an adult-only, quiet environment with occasional new humans to meet and befriend. She adores attention and will roll right over if she has the tiniest inkling her new friend might offer belly rubs! Kona has never lived with another dog before, so we’re not sure how she’d do with a canine companion, but it’s possible she could live with a mellow male dog with proper introductions.  Kona is almost 10 years old and weighs around 65 pounds. She’s mostly Shepherd with a bit of Doberman, and likely some other breeds as well. She’s an absolute gem of a dog! Don’t let her age fool you–she’s still young at heart and can’t wait to show off her zoomies! If you’re looking for a loving and loyal friend who enjoys life’s simple pleasures, Kona could be your perfect match! Kona’s adoption fee is $450. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.  Fill out an adoption application for Kona at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application See more photos of Kona her Facebook album! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.939545508215137&type=3 ##2051491##
