Story
Max is a Dutch Shepherd and approximately 3 years old. He is a typical Dutchie in many ways. He is very toy driven and loves a game of fetch. When excited he's mouthy and will def give you the love nibbles. He is not interested in making many human friends outside of "his" people, but as long as he is under control/guidance of his handler he does fine. This means that he isn't the life of the party when people come over or the dog that is going to be pet on by strangers. He bonds with his people and is so goofy and fun to have around. He is mostly house and crate trained. He requires a fenced yard to enjoy. Max does know basic obedience. He is dog social but prefers females. He will require an adult home. No cats please. He is healthy and happy and would be great for an active pet home or a hobby sport pet home! Interested families can submit applications for adoption on our website- www.k9Justiceleague.com.

Story
Auntie Em is a beautiful, German Shepherd Dog/Pitbull mix (50/50 according to the DNA test). Her dark Brindle coat and copper eyes are simply stunning - this girl turns heads! She is about 3.5 years old and weighs 64 pounds. She is very smart, obedient, powerful, and full of energy. If you are interested, please research both breeds. High energy, working dogs require a lot of exercise and stimuli. Auntie Em is very particular with other animals. She has interacted with various sized dogs. Sometimes it's playful, sometimes it's not. She does not like when other dogs get in her face or show any excitement or dominance. There is not a lot of warning when she's upset. A new owner will have to work with her and learn her cues and how to redirect her. Her prey drive is there for little furry things too, therefore no kitties. Em would do best as the only pet. She has loved all the people she has met so far with proper introduction. She is CRAZY food motivated. Em will eat anything, but chicken seems to make her itchy. Poultry free diet for this girl! She is gentle when taking treats, but is a bit protective of her bowl and yummy treats. Because of this and her occasional bursts of energy (zoomies), no children under 12 in the household for this gal. Em will definitely benefit from some obedience training to polish her manners. She does know some basic commands. She will go in a crate, but she does not love it. Em can be trusted in the house alone as long as she has her toys. She LOVES her toys. She also loves to hang out on the couch and on the bed if you will let her. Em will go in the car just fine - she is a little anxious at first, but settles down. She is micro-chipped, UTD on vaccines and spayed. She does get seasonal allergies too, but it is easily controlled with medication as needed. Em is going to make a wonderful pet for the right owner. Is it you? If you are interested, please fill out an application on www.homesfurhounds.org.

Story
Once Upon a Time...In the bustling streets of a small town, a spirited dog named Side Quest roamed, her heart full of curiosity and her paws ready for adventure. With a coat that shone in the sunlight and eyes that sparkled with mischief, Side Quest was no ordinary stray. She thrived on exploration, seeking out new sights, scents, and friends along the way!Side Quest is an adventurer and a professional explorer who needs an active partner to see the world with and a loving home to return to after a day of hiking, sightseeing, and play. She came in as a stray back in October of 2024, and has made it clear her most favorite thing of all is going for long walks through the woods. She loves jerky treats and water of all kinds - both for drinking and for playing in!We are not sure what kind of dog Side Quest was before she arrived at the shelter, but we know in her time here she has gone from a nervous, skinny stray to a confident, beautiful Shepherd who warms up to people quick and loves as hard as she trusts. She is very observant and needs plenty of mental stimulation to keep her clever mind occupied. “Questy” may need some training and guidance to be the very best version of the bestest girl that she is. She does not do well with other dogs , and will thrive most in a home without other animals. She likely needs an experienced and involved dog owner as her family, as she is strong and nimble and very, very smart. Are you ready to make your life a grand adventure? Side Quest is on the lookout for her forever home, ready to embark on her greatest adventure yet: finding a family to call her own. With her by your side you’ll make memories to last a lifetime full of wonder, delight, and surprises along the way. Join Side Quest and embark on your own adventure together!
