Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey there, I'm Gavin! I am a handsome boy and silly creature that will surely capture your heart. I've got a spunky energy and love to cuddle. I weigh about 55lbs and I'll be celebrating my 2nd birthday soon! I'm hoping to do that with my very own forever family. I'm listed as a Belgian Malinois mix, but foster mom says I'm probably more like an Australian Shepherd mix. She's going to send my DNA in so we know for sure, because I feel like a big mystery and we want to solve it! No matter what breed(s) I actually am, I possess an amusing level of energy that guarantees a life filled with joy and laughter. While I can entertain myself quite well, I am seeking someone who can help me become the best version of myself through training. I still need a little help but my foster has complete faith in me and thinks I'm a good boy who's doing his best. I am happy with and without other dogs in the household, and I've been great with canine friends both large and small. However, I am not much of a friend to other cats or birds. I'm great with all the human friends, including children - they are so fun! I am truly happiest when I can embark on daily walks and spend time with my loving family. If you think I could be the boy for you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Well hello! My name is Indu which is Hindi for moon. I am a 4 year old Dutch shepherd mix who is about 65 lbs. I am a sweet, shy girl who absolutely loves other dogs of all sizes and I mostly ignore cats. I need a family that is willing to be patient with me while I learn to trust people. In the time I’ve been with my foster family I’ve gone from spending most of my time outside or in the other room to sleeping on the bed, asking for pets, getting excited when the humans come home, and hanging out where everyone else is. It might take me a bit to be a confident dog who doesn’t shy away from new people, but I promise I will keep working so hard at it Loud noises and sudden movements kind of still scare me though so I would be best with kids 12 and over. I am house trained and have never had an accident. I know my name and come when I’m called. I’m not a barker and can be trusted to be left out while you’re away. I love walls and am working on not pulling on the leash-I’m just so excited! If you’re looking for a sweet gal to add to your pack, apply at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 22, 2024, 4:36 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! My name is Zilla! I am silly, playful and highly intelligent 2 year old Shepherd mix. I am unsure of new people and dogs at first so a slow approach would be best for me, but once I’m warmed up I love everyone and do well with other dogs. It would be beneficial if I had a dog sibling to help me become more comfortable and learn new things because I am more of a follower, not a leader. I am potty trained, crated trained and have some basic obedience training. My foster mom has been working with me on the stranger danger behavior so someone willing to continue confidence and relationship building training would be a good fit for me. I have not been around small children so older children would be more up my alley as I like to wiggle and play often. Story
Meet Patsy!Observed by shelter staff:Patsy is a 3 year old spayed German Shepherd mix. Patsy is a friendly gal who loves being outside and playing with a ball. She gets excited when greeting new people and could use help learning not to jump up when doing so. She previously lived with a male dog (Percy) and would do best living with him again or with dogs her same size. She can be dog-selective and has a high prey drive so she should not be with smaller dogs, cats, or any other small animals. She knows the sit command and appears crate-trained.Weighs 67 pounds $25 to adopt

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Hank is a friendly dog that gives a warm, noticeable greeting. He has a high energy level is very affectionate and would make a great dog for an active person or family with respectful children. He is nervous around the other dogs here at the shelter and would most likely do okay with a dog-friendly dog that is similar to his size; we recommend a meet and greet. He’s a dufus and would probably play too rough and annoy smaller dogs. He is scared of cats, but was also a little interested at the same time. Although he needs some work with his leash manners, he does know the sit and shake commands. Weighs 64 pounds; $25 to adopt.
