Sweet, smart, and super friendly – Dk is the total package! He’s got the manners of a gentleman. He’s a great leash walker and already knows how to sit and shake on command. He seems to know to be calm and gentle around people. When it’s time, he has no problem letting his silly flag fly! He enjoys rough housing with toys, and has yet to find a toy he doesn’t like. He’ll play with any and all of them! Dk would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Her favorite activities are swimming, bathing, running, playing with toys, car rides, and fetch. Her cuddly, affectionate nature makes her the perfect companion for cozy evenings while she lounges on your lap and you pet her. Naomi`s excitability is infectious, and her obedience is commendable. She`s house trained and gets along well with other dogs and children, making her an ideal addition to any family. Around them she is easygoing, friendly, playful, jumpy, occasionally rough but sometimes gentle. She needs practice with leash walking as she investigates every rustling leaf and every bird`s chirp. Being outside is an adventure waiting to unfold. Like many youngsters she loves to chew, jump, and run away - all in good fun. She does understand the no command and usually won`t run away while off leash. This 33-pound girl was given up because there were too many dogs in the home. Miguel is such a sweet boy! As much as he is filled with love, he is filled with energy. I will say, he definitely knows how to relax and be a pup in the house when everyone else is, or after a the dog park. He was found tied to a pole as a 4 month old pup and I took him on on Valentine's day last year. He's been my sweet heart ever since! Since then, I have also begun my second year of pharmacy school I simply can't give him the attention he deserves at this time and for the next few years. It's not fair to him so I'd prefer if he was with a loving family, no matter how big or small, somewhere he can roam freely and possibly enjoy the company of other dogs as well. He likes to play a bit rough and I don't have children so I'm not sure how he is with children but he cries and wags his tail when he sees babies so that's a good sign! I'm sure with some healthy reenforcement he can learn to be gentler. He turned 1 year old in October and is fixed with shot records up to date. No bites.

PATTY This blonde beauty is PATTY! Patty is a 6 yr old German Shep mix, weighs around 65 lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. This lovely girl is looking for a chance to have a family to call her own. She has been with the rescue for almost 3 years, and we don't know why. Patty is good with kids and people but may need to be the only dog in the home. She comes on strong with other dogs and acts a little obsessive and does not take a cue when the other dog wants her to back off. Her foster is working on this behavior. Patty is housebroken, crate trained, knows her basic commands and has excellent house manners. She is not destructive, enjoys sunbathing playing with toys, walks well on the leash and rides great in the car. Patty has a prey drive and should not be in a home with cats or small critters Patty will fetch ia toy if tossed to her or is happy to entertain herself. She has a good solid bark and will alert bark when appropriate. Patty has asked Santa for a home ito call her own and we are spreading the word to make her dreams come true! ##1420632##

She is shy to new people and does better with women than men, but her foster is working on this. She loves to run and swim in the pond and is learning commands.
