Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

Story
Lexi is a gorgeous 2 to 3 year old Dutch Shepherd Aussie Mix, around 50 lbs.  She has been in rescue since January.  Lexi is perhaps the smartest dog we have ever come through our rescue.  She could easily become a service dog with the proper training.  Lexi's superpower is also her great weakness.  She connects with one person and that person is her whole world.  When that person is out her her sight, she gets separation anxiety.  If she can be trained to harness that energy into her service person, Lexi will be the perfect dog.    Lexi  is still a little shy at first, but once she warms up, Lexi is 100% LOVE!  She is very calm, just wants to sit next to someone and feel safe.  She is great on a leash, likes to go for walks, knows basic commands like sit & come and seems to be housebroken.  She sleeps quietly all night in her kennel but wants to be around people as much as possible.  She gets along with other dogs.  She will chase cats.  She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is spayed.   To apply for Lexi:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##1890632##

Story
I got Buddy from Austin animal Center as a 10 month old puppy. I have had him for a little over a year. He is a very sweet but energetic dog. He is more energetic than he first appeared. Due to medical issues and living in an apartment, I am unable to exercise him as much as he needs. He would do best in a house that has a backyard that he can run around and play with another dog. He rarely barks, doesn’t bite and is very playful with all other animals. He is crate trained. He also has a life time training thing set up with bark busters. He is currently going through training at PetSmart. He knows sit, paw, down, place, go to bed (crate), middle (go in between my legs), still working on tuck (go underneath my legs, chair or table).

Story
Meet Thor Introducing Thor, the big and friendly dog with a heart of love! This squishy pup is a great companion for anyone who loves big, playful dogs. Thor is a natural social butterfly and loves spending time with other dogs, making him a great fit for households with multiple pets. He loves being in the house and is quick to make himself at home. Thor is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is available to adopt out of state but needs to be an only dog as a meet and greet is required. Thor is a dog who's always up for an adventure, and he particularly loves car rides. He jumps into the car with ease and settles in for the ride, making him the perfect companion for road trips and outings with the family. With his love for exploration, we recommend a high fence for this big boy. But Thor isn't just about fun and games; he's also a well-trained pup who knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. He's always eager to learn new things and is a quick study. With his love of learning and eagerness to please, Thor is a great candidate for agility training. While in the house, Thor is content in a kennel or just laying on the couch. And let's not forget, Thor loves attention and is a big snuggler. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a movie night or cuddling in bed, Thor loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the love and affection. In short, Thor is a big and friendly dog who's always ready for fun and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion who's great with other pets, loves car rides, and enjoys a good snuggle, then Thor is the perfect fit for you! To see more pictures and videos of Thor copy and paste this link, you can apply directly for Thor by clicking the "Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-62 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
