Hi, I`m Nelli! I`m a friendly, sweet, playful, curious, goofy, mellow, and cuddly gal. I love to explore and play, my curiosity knows no bounds! I`m also quite the goofball, making everyone around me chuckle with my antics. When I`m not busy being playful and curious, I`m mellowing out, enjoying a good cuddle. And oh, how I love other dogs! They`re my favorite playmates. When I was brought to the shelter, I was not my best self but the staff here have really made me feel loved and have shown me how great of a dog I am. I have received my vaccines, am spayed, and have been putting on more weight back to a healthy shape. I`m still learning the ropes of potty training, but I promise to try my best. I`m not just a pet, I`m a friend, a companion, a source of endless entertainment and unconditional love. I can`t wait to meet my forever family and fill their lives with joy. At first , Dottie was scared of everything and everyone, hiding in the dog house whenever her foster was present. She would even take her food dish into the dog house to hide to eat. She LOVES other dogs! She now plays, polices the yard and goes in and out of the house. She crates very well and walks on a leash. She Is sweet, still a little shy, but loves to be petted and loved on. She needs slow introductions to new people because of her shyness, never has she shown any aggression. Cookie is a sweet 1-year-old German Shepard. She has a good amount of energy but also enjoys cuddling. The only reason I am looking to rehome her is that I have now started getting home so late from work, and it's not fair for a pup. She has been excellent with my kids and elderly father (just a little bit of toe stepping with her excitement haha). She is accustomed to a crate during the work day and being out and free in the evenings. She is house-trained and knows very basic commands like sit and lay. She will wait in front of her dog bowl until you snap over it to let her know it is time to eat. I always pet her and fidget with her mouth while eating to ensure she doesn't snap at anyone when eating. I have had her since she was born.
