Story
Can we just stop for a second and talk about the undeniable cuteness of this little girl!!!!!! She's approx 4 months old and full or personality. She's in a foster home in Memphis Tn with Michele and many other dogs and lots of comings and goings so she's very well socialized and confident . She is kennel trained and enjoys the company of her siblings, learning to house train with the help of pee pads and she's also learning all about the doggy door. Wonderful with children, a very gentle and puppy like personality! We use a transport company called Rescue Vet Transport to get our pets from Memphis to the northeast! They travel each and every weekend delivering our adopted pets to the northeast . Transport fee is an additional $185. If you would like to make Greta a part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

Story
Updated: 07NOV24 **Meet Mila! The Cuddle Queen Who Loves to Splash!** Weight: 65 lbs of pure charm Age: 10 months old (still a puppy at heart!) Breed: Dutch Shepherd Mix (with probably a splash of Lab!) Spayed: Yes Appearance: Mostly black and fabulous! Kid and Dog Friendly: Absolutely! **Background Story. From Foster to Fabulous!** Introducing Mila, the pint-sized dynamo who was born into the foster system when her mom, the fabulous Kate, was rescued. Growing up in a loving home, Mila has mastered the art of being adorable and is ready to take on the world! **Personality Traits. Brains, Beauty, and a Splash of Goofiness!** According to her foster mom, Mila is not just a pretty face; she's super smart and has a personality that can light up any room! In fact, she's so clever that she once picked up her own harness and proudly trotted over to her foster mom after watching her put it on her brother. We think she's just trying to show off her skills- "Look, Mom! I can do it too!" Mila loves to snuggle up with her humans, especially during bedtime, making her the perfect cuddle buddy. You can always count on her to keep you warm as you drift off to sleep! Plus, Mila has shown that she doesn't get into anything she shouldn't and doesn't chew on objects lying about the house, which is a huge plus for any family. **Summer Splashing Fun!** During the summer months, Mila comes to life with her favorite activity: playing in her puppy pool! She loves to splash around and fetch balls from the pool, turning any hot day into a fun-filled adventure. If you sit or stand still long enough, you may find her settling down at your feet, claiming her spot as your loyal companion. **Loves Children** Mila is great with children of all ages, bringing joy and laughter to their playtime. However, being still a puppy, she can be a bit rambunctious, so some supervision during playtime is always a good idea. While she's submissive with the other dogs in her foster home, she can be a little shy when meeting new dogs or encountering unfamiliar situations. When she's feeling nervous, her adorable squeaky bark makes an appearance-it's like a tiny alarm bell that says, "Help! I'm a little unsure! **Shy Girl** Mila tends to take a little longer to warm up to men compared to women, but with time, patience, and treats, she'll reveal her sweet side to everyone! She would thrive in a home that includes both men and women, as she loves to be part of a diverse family. **Tennis Ball Obsessed!** And when it comes to her one true love-tennis balls-Mila is relentless! If you're not throwing the ball fast enough for her liking, she'll give you the 'I'm-not-leaving-you-alone-until-you-help-me' look. With a likely sprinkle of Labrador in her mix, she brings that classic Lab enthusiasm for playtime. Plus, she's an excellent car rider and has no issues with car sickness, making her the perfect travel companion! Whether she's lounging on the couch or making a puppy pile with her siblings, Mila is all about love and fetch! **Why Adopt Mila? Your Future Cuddle Buddy Awaits!** If you're looking for a furry friend who's equal parts cuddly, clever, and absolutely fabulous, Mila is your gal! She's on a mission to find her forever family, and she promises to fill your days with laughter, snuggles, and the occasional "Look what I can do! moment. Don't miss out on the chance to add this delightful little diva to your family-adopt Mila today and prepare for a lifetime of giggles and puppy antics!
