Story
Hi there! I'm Benelli, a sweet pup who's looking for my forever home. I was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of my own, and I'm ready to find a loving family to share my life with. I'm a bit shy when we first meet, but give me some time and space, and I'll warm up to you. Once I feel comfortable, I promise to be your loyal companion! I'd thrive in a quiet home without toddlers running around, where I can relax and feel safe. I'm still figuring out if I can live with other dogs, but honestly, I wouldn't mind being the only fur baby. I love long walks to explore the world, but I'm just as happy being a cozy couch potato by your side. Once I trust you, I'll be your velcro dog, never wanting to leave your side. Let's create some beautiful memories together! The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, PA Kennel License #02941, 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
Piper is such a great gal. She is 4 years old and 70 (needs about 15 lbs on her) lbs of wonderful. Piper was adopted at a young age, from a shelter in SC, but was given away, when that family moved, then lost her family when the hurricane hit. She is just such a good family companion. Great with dogs and people and we can cat test. She is so loyal and eager to please, and truly wonderful. Very long legs and we are not sure her true mix, but very shepard looking. Please, open your hearts and home to this great gal - you will be so glad you did. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure - so much prettier in person.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   November 9, 2024, 10:58 am

Story
LULU'S SAYS MEET SUNNY & HUGO, bonded best friends who will be your super sweet READY MADE FAMILY. SUNNY is 5 years old, approx 45 lbs and is a friendly girl who enjoys any outdoor activity. She loves cuddling at your feet and mental enrichment. [Did we mention she is smart? ] She learns new things in 1-2 tries. She loves being with her family and HUGO, who gives her confidence. HUGO, a 6 year old Lab mix, approx 48 lbs, is a well trained and charismatic dog . His temperament is friendly-extroverted and emotional. HUGO was utilized to bring cheer to the troops in the US military. His emotional intelligence is off the charts, he will personally cuddle until he's removed their troubles. HUGO does this with SUNNY too. HUGO enjoys cuddles, sunbathing, playing catch, and affection.  SUNNY & HUGO would do best in a kind, loving, and laid-back home in which their guardians appreciate dogs being dogs. SUNNY & HUGO should not be adopted separately. They love each other and we do not want to split them up. They are both spayed/neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Their adoption fee is $425 each. Please note that training is strongly recommended for all dogs.  As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.  Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the HOW TO ADOPT tab for an overview of the Lulu's Rescue adoption process.  Thank you for adopting and saving a life -- you are ROCKY & MEGGIE's hero!November 6, 2024, 9:48 am
