If you can travel to Tishomingo, Oklahoma to adopt Skid, fill out this application form: https://forms.gle/9LLwTZfn3MY4kxDd8 If you will need Skid transported to you (can be US nationwide), fill out this application form: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 -Skid is a male, possibly Dutch Shepherd/Plott Hound mix and is around 20 months old. ~55-60 pounds -Tested Heartworm Negative December 11th. -He came into the shelter of July 2023 as a puppy and deserves more than life in a shelter. He is our longest term resident and deserves a home for Christmas. He was homeless last Christmas. -Skid does well with other dogs. -He has been to multiple public events and seems to do well with children. -He loves people as well and walks well on a leash. -Can be a tad shy at first, but warms up quickly. -He loves to take toys into his dog house in his kennel and play with them. -Walks well on a leash. -He was just professionally groomed and did a great job! -Video of Skid: https://youtube.com/shorts/IWq1HqJdjnw?feature=share Skid is neutered, vaccinated, and wormed. Story
This regal gal is Miss Xena! Xena is an approximately 4-year old female Shepherd / Great Dane mix and weighs around 70 lbs. Xena is truly a warrior princess! She carries herself very gracefully and is truly beautiful. Her pictures do not do her justice! She is a tall and lanky gal! Xena has an awesome personality, can be moderate energy or just chill! She loves playing with other dogs and is currently in a boarding daycare where she plays and socializes with many dogs of all sizes. Xena has done well with the children she has met at outreaches but she has not lived with them before. She is friendly and outgoing. She would love a home where she is included in activities and can interact with her person (people) on a daily basis. She does need a secure stockade-fenced yard as she has legs like a giraffe and could easily clear a chain-link or low fence. When bored, she has jumped a 6-ft chain-link fence just to go the front door of the daycare! Xena appears house-trained. She is crate-trained and walks on a leash like a princess diva! She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. Since Xena is in boarding, she qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster.
