Story
Holly is wondering where her forever family is. She's a sweet puppy going on around 5 months old. We think that Holly is a Dutch Shepherd mix or maybe a Cattle dog mix. Holly would love an active family with a fenced in backyard that would give her the appropriate amount of exercise and training. She's not terribly hyper, but puppies need exercise. And just look at those ears! Currently Holly weighs 25lbs and is just the cutest girl ever! If you think Holly might be a good fit for your family, then please fill out the adoption application on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt ##1883952##

Story
Scooter is a very sweet boy, good with children and cats. He does not react to deer, golf carts, walkers, bikers, or small dogs when out walking, but does show reactivity with large dogs by barking and pulling. In the home, he is so lovely, calm, and friendly. He is a very laid back and relaxed dog. He is extremely responsive with treats on walks and his reactivity is easily managed with the use of food rewards. He still needs a bit of distance from larger dogs (20-30 feet) to be able to stay calm, but has done really well when this strategy is used. He has worked with a trainer and would benefit continuation to build social confidence. Scooter becomes very attached to his family. He loves with his whole heart! He has done fine with little dogs. Scooter would love a foster family, foster to adopt or a forever home. If interested, you can complete our application at safeanimalhaven.orgNovember 5, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
Tony is a 8 month old puppy. One of his siblings did a DNA test and they are mostly a mix of German shepherd, cattle dog and pitbull. We don’t anticipate him being larger than 60 lbs full grown. Tony has been in rescue since early May, and we can’t believe he hasn’t found his forever family yet! He is a very good puppy! He’s not overly destructive and listens well. Because of Tony’s past it does take him a little longer to warm up but once he’s comfortable he will come to you and ask for pets.Tony is what we call a dog’s dog, if it was up to him he’d play with his friends all day long! Tony’s ideal home will have a fence for security and another confident dog to show him the way. We know his perfect family has to be out there!
