Story
**He is currently in Seattle** Mukgoo is about 5 years old. He was found near an army base in Korea and immigrated to America around the age of 1 on President’s Day of 2020. He is an incredibly smart and lovable dog. He is kind and loves people (loves dogs and people). He will eat almost anything (except veggies). He can be a jumper when he gets very excited. He prefers households with another dog and a big yard to run around in but it’s not a non-negotiable. He has always adjusted well to whatever the circumstance. Overall, he’s a good dog and he’s got a lot of love to give. I’m having to give him up due to being unable to raise him in my current life stage. In no way, this is due to any bad behaviors or anything. He’s a really kind-hearted and sweet dog. Likes - He loves playing fetch (quickest way to his heart), rolling in the grass, puppycinos, ice cream, snow, people, dogs - Historically has liked lamb, fish skin, salmon, bully sticks, dental sticks, sweet potato, etc. In general, he loves to eat~ - Very social and prefers to greet other dogs and people, including dog parks, doggy day cares Dislikes - He dislikes bath but who does - He doesn’t like being alone but can manage a few hours if needed - No longer is a fan of veggies - Fireworks and big noises Things to Watch out for - Throwing up: If you let him freely eat grass, he’ll throw up. When he feels stressed, he can react by throwing up. - He can be independent when he is fixated on things. Just be patient with him and he will come back to focus on you. He is a people pleaser. - He rarely barks. He may bark when other dogs bark but even that is rare. He is more of a whiner. If he needs to let you know something, he will whine. - Not a counter surfer but can be if you let him Commands He knows his basic commands (sit, down, hand, etc.) and is open to learning new ones as well. Potty He is used to peeing and pooing outside. Once you create a regular spot and time for him, it’s clockwork. Otherwise, just be aware when he whines that it may be time to go. - At a high level, he knows “go potty” and “go poo” as a sign to go to the bathroom - He will rarely go pee or poo inside the home. Once in a million tries, a thing like that can happen during the night but he’s really sorry when he does. Leash He has never been fully off-leash, only in areas that condone it (home, backyard, dog park, etc.). He is not one to go off-leash and run away. He’ll run around and try to have you play with him. Keep him on a short leash if you need to focus on walking as he can veer away due to his interest in sniffing. Once on a short leash, he’ll understand and walk along. However, give him time to sniff as he is very curious with smells. Sleep He can sleep together or on his own if you’re in a different room or floor. He is also loves to cuddle up as well. When there’s fireworks, it’s recommended you sleep where he sees you because he’s afraid of the loud sounds. Food He is on one meal a day. If you give him two meals a day, he may not eat the first meal. Snacks though he loves. He knows how to sit and wait for food. He is currently on Costco’s salmon and sweet potato meal.

Story
Meet Pip!Breed Guess: Dutch Sheperd/BoxerAge: Young Adult...best guess is 2-3 years oldWeight: 52lbs,,,she is a perfect, petite, medium girl Other Animals: Pip LOVES other dogs of all ages and sizes and will play very respectfully with them. She will adjust her play style to match who is there, from puppies to strong adults. She is submissive and adjusts beautifully to all dog personalities. She has a strong prey drive so any small animal is not a match for her forever home. Kids: She is great with kids!House training: She is perfect and has never had an accident in the houseExercise needs: Pip has a great energy level with a lot of get up and go, but then settles when she is home. She LOVES playing with other dogs so we would prefer a home where she has a lot of outlets to do that and/or a dog sibling or two. She has amazing leash skills and loves to be out and about, in the car, or on visits anywhere. You name it, Pip is up for the adventure! What she's great at: Being respectful in the home, walking on leash, learning, and just about everything! What she's working on: Not sure yet...she's pretty much ready to move inPersonality: Pip is upbeat, fun, sweet, submissive, respectful & a cuddle bug.  She loves cozy up next to her human on the couch!Pip's Story: She was found roaming in traffic in Grand Cayman Island when a volunteer from the shelter drove by. She got out and was able to secure her after a lot of coaxing and brought Pip to safety. She fostered her for 7 months until we finally had room to take her in here. Dogs on the islands have a difficult time finding good homes so the volunteers go out of their way to get them to rescues in the states where they can have the homes they deserve. We feel honored to find the special family this girl so deserves!Dream Home: Pip would thrive with loving, active humans who are social and want to include their dog in their daily activities. Pip is that rare find where she can be trusted to make you proud in almost any setting. She would love to have a fur sibling and friends and is pretty close to perfect. A true gem who is completely ready to meet you and move in. Please put an application in and let's set up a play date!  ##2051068##

Story
Karla is a 5 year old, black German Shepherd mix. She is exceptionally smart and does amazingly well with her training. Karla will need a kind, committed, confident and active person who can channel her energy and drive and allow her to be the magnificent friend we know she is. She is a lean 50 pounds. Here is the tricky part - Karla does not like strangers, and sometimes other dogs. Karla takes a long time to warm up, and as such she cannot go home with just anyone. She is protective of her people, so she will need a home where this is respected. An experienced dog owner is a must. Shepherd experience is a plus. If you are interested in meeting this wonderful dog (she really is a sweetheart once she knows you!), please fill out an adoption application. Karla had a DNA test and she is: 46% German Shepherd Dog 32% American Pit Bull Terrier 9% Rottweiler 5% Dalmatian 4% American Staffordshire Terrier 2% White Swiss Shepherd 1% Belgian Sheepdog 1% Bohemian Shepherd Dog Karla is housetrained!
