Story
We have a 12-month-old male Dutch Shepherd that we need to surrender immediately. His name is Steve. He is a wonderful dog, but we just do not have time and space to provide him with. He is very loyal, loving, and smart. He needs lots of attention and does not like to be alone. Please help give Steve the best possible life.

Story
Handsome Moe was originally very shy when he first arrived at the shelter because everything was so new and unfamiliar here, but this brave guy has now become more confident with patient practice from shelter volunteers.Moe has blossomed into a friendly and affectionate fellow and enjoys attention and company, often greeting you with a big hug. He likes to put his big paws on your lap and give kisses. This furry boy has a youthful spirit and loves to be outside. He likes to run around the yard and check things out, examining all the smells.Moe is eager to get out and about with you and tends to pull on leash in his excitement; a gentle halter lead is an option for smoother walking. Moe generally greets other dogs calmly and would like to meet any resident dogs to see if they’ll be compatible.Moe is sure to be a loyal pet and will continue to blossom with a loving adopter!

Story
Hello there, I'm Encino. That means "oak" in Spanish, and like an oak tree, I'm pretty stunning, or so people have told me. I'm a friendly guy who loves cuddles on the couch and nap time. I'm still kind of a pup, though, with plenty of "let's play!" energy. I'm looking for a home where I can be my playful self and work on commands and then snuggle up next to you and feel calm. If you have dogs in your family, please bring them to meet me. I hope to see you soon! A team member notes, "Encino loves to go out exploring on walks. He gets excited when he sees other humans and dogs, and he makes a unique 'clicking' sound when he's excited. He's a good listener and an overall good boy." Five Fun Facts About Me: 1. Favorite treats: Freeze dried meats (I also accept cheese and hot dogs :) ) 2. Favorite toy: Plush toys, rubber toys and rawhides 3. Favorite activity: Chasing after balls, snuggling 4. Tricks that I know or am working on: Sit, down, and fetch 5. Something you should know about me: When I get excited I click my jaw to ring in the good times

Story
Don't let the soft grey muzzle on this beautiful sweet girl fool you! She is young at heart and eager to please. She's housebroken and knows how to "sit" and loves treats. Sasha is a curious girl and loves to explore her environment, but will return to you every few minutes to rest her head in your lap to let you know how much she appreciates the time you are spending with her. Come and meet her! A team member adds, "I spent time with this unusually handsome girl in her room. She is REALLY friendly -- she came right up to me. She is calm with a nice energy level. She enjoyed getting scratches and rubs. She knows "sit" and "shake" and does a shake as soon as she sees a treat." Another team member says, "Sasha is such a good girl. She's easy to harness and leash, and she's a great walking buddy. We went to the park, and she enjoyed getting a few zoomies out and was brave enough to try the agility ramp all on her own. She checked back in with me frequently for pets and sat like a perfect lady for treats."

Story
Hi hoomans! I am Bilbo, and I'm looking for my next great adventure, hopefully with you! Why don't you come meet me today? Maybe I will give you one of my famous hugs! Just look how excited I am. A team member adds, "Bilbo is a very sweet guy and pretty gentle for his size. When I walked into his kennel, he stood on his back legs, put his front paws on my shoulders and gave me some gentle kisses. He was just so happy to see me. Once we got outside, he walked very well on his leash and enjoyed exploring. He takes direction well - simple verbal cues to move along or change direction. He was politely curious about other doggos he saw, and he was very friendly to other humans. He would thrive in a home where his humans have time to give him some attention and help him settle in to his forever home." Ruff!
