Story
Hi there! I'm Benelli, a sweet pup who's looking for my forever home. I was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of my own, and I'm ready to find a loving family to share my life with. I'm a bit shy when we first meet, but give me some time and space, and I'll warm up to you. Once I feel comfortable, I promise to be your loyal companion! I'd thrive in a quiet home without toddlers running around, where I can relax and feel safe. I'm still figuring out if I can live with other dogs, but honestly, I wouldn't mind being the only fur baby. I love long walks to explore the world, but I'm just as happy being a cozy couch potato by your side. Once I trust you, I'll be your velcro dog, never wanting to leave your side. Let's create some beautiful memories together! The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, PA Kennel License #02941, 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
LULU'S SAYS MEET SUNNY & HUGO, bonded best friends who will be your super sweet READY MADE FAMILY. SUNNY is 5 years old, approx 45 lbs and is a friendly girl who enjoys any outdoor activity. She loves cuddling at your feet and mental enrichment. [Did we mention she is smart? ] She learns new things in 1-2 tries. She loves being with her family and HUGO, who gives her confidence. HUGO, a 6 year old Lab mix, approx 48 lbs, is a well trained and charismatic dog . His temperament is friendly-extroverted and emotional. HUGO was utilized to bring cheer to the troops in the US military. His emotional intelligence is off the charts, he will personally cuddle until he's removed their troubles. HUGO does this with SUNNY too. HUGO enjoys cuddles, sunbathing, playing catch, and affection.  SUNNY & HUGO would do best in a kind, loving, and laid-back home in which their guardians appreciate dogs being dogs. SUNNY & HUGO should not be adopted separately. They love each other and we do not want to split them up. They are both spayed/neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Their adoption fee is $425 each. Please note that training is strongly recommended for all dogs.  As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.  Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the HOW TO ADOPT tab for an overview of the Lulu's Rescue adoption process.  Thank you for adopting and saving a life -- you are ROCKY & MEGGIE's hero!October 26, 2024, 7:24 am

Story
STRYKER - Young, Fun, and Energetic Yes, you will be thunderstruck with this amazingly athletic and fun dog. He is going to keep you entertained for hours and then just chill out at night, you will fall in love with Stryker. This handsome, playful and friendly Dutch Shepherd dog can’t wait to meet you and become best buddies. He loves to play and run around outside, getting a full head of steam playing fetch and stretching his legs. When inside, Stryker can play or learn to chill by your side while you do some work from home. Like any shepherd, this guy is smart and active. Get those tennis balls and tug toys out because he loves playing fetch or goofing off with just about any toy. Stryker is incredibly agile and fast. He enjoys brisk walks and being with people. Stryker gets very excited when meeting new dogs. Stryker has a girlfriend - Van. They love to run around and play hard. Stryker can sometimes be a little possessive of his ball when playing with other dogs, however, he has the potential to live with other active dogs. He was gentle and easy going when walking with our special girl Phoenix. Stryker is about 3 years old and close to 70 pounds. He is healthy with no underlying medical issues. As you can see from his pictures he is quite photogenic, but even pictures don’t do him full justice. You have to meet him to truly experience his joyous nature. Stryker has all the physical, intelligence, and active characteristics of a full Dutch Shepherd. If you are interested in finding out more about Stryker, please email us at contact@sedonashepherd.com. Stryker is also a candidate for our foster to adopt program, which allows a potential adopter the opportunity to foster Stryker for 3 weeks prior to committing to an adoption. We are requiring any potential adopter sign up for obedience training with Stryker. If you live in northern, central or western New Jersey, Canine Dimensions has graciously offered to provide up to 3 in home sessions at no cost. Preference will be given to owners with a fenced in yard. Based on his activity level, we are also looking for a home with older children. If you are interested, please fill out an adoption application. Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary's mission is to rescue adult and senior German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes and find them loving homes.  All of our dogs are fully vetted and up to date on all their shots Our adoption area includes New Jersey, Delaware Valley, Manhattan, Southern New York and Eastern Pennsylvania.  We may adopt to Connecticut depending on circumstances.  Please visit our website at www.sedonashepherd.com. Story
Meet Coffee Bean, an adorable 3-month-old, 7-pound Dutch Shepherd mix with a stunning brindle coat. Coffee is all puppy—full of energy, curiosity, and playfulness. He loves to pull on toys, chew on anything he can find, and play hard before curling up for a nap on his foster dad’s lap. He’s doing well with potty training, going outside when taken out.Coffee is starting leash training and showing a bit of that stubborn puppy spirit, but he’s making progress. He enjoys daily walks with his foster family’s dog. He is okay with the cat, though he wishes the cat would play! Coffee is learning that fingers aren’t chew toys, and he’s getting better with redirection. He’s great with people and other dogs, and he’s even learned that “aaa” means stop. While he loves chasing balls, he’s still working on bringing them back.Coffee Bean is an adorable, energetic pup who’s eager to find a forever home that will continue to guide him as he grows. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, playful companion, Coffee could be the perfect fit! Apply at bcaaofnj.org Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
