Story
Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi! My name is Bessie and I just arrived from Alabama in November! I currently live with my foster family (a human mom, dad, and 3 kids ages 10, 7, and 3). They all LOVE me and give me hugs, belly rubs, and ear scratches. I am an eager learner, and have already learned sit, gentle, and leave it. I am getting better with potty training too! I love being outside, playing with other dogs, chewing my nylabone and Kong, and snuggling on the couch. Sometimes I forget that I'm 70 pounds, and need reminders to be gentle with the smaller humans, but I'm working on it! A play date with a furry friend is a great outlet for me.I quietly sleep in my crate overnight AND when mom goes to work. When she's working from home, I closely supervise and chew on my toys or snooze. I am looking for a family who has room in their hearts and home for a big and fun snuggle bug!! Is it you? ❤️ --------------------------------------------"I'll be home for Christmas!" For applications received now through 12/31/2025, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below. All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $350To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

These pups are in Crystal, Minnesota too!

I like to spend my days busying myself with toys and doggie chewies.  I like to stay active too by running and playing in the yard.  However, I usually fit a few naps into my day as well.  After all, who doesn't like a nap?  I'm learning what potty pads are and that I really should go outside to do my dirty business but it takes time to establish those habits.  I love to cuddle with my humans too. I'm searching for a fabulous forever home to share my life and love with! Do you want a great friend to join your family?  Well, adopt me and let's start making lasting memories together! Come meet me and my friends at the 2026 Twin Cities Auto Show! Ask what day I’m attending See all of the animals attending this event.    * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $600 plus taxSummit is an 18-week-old German Shepherd mix who believes the best place to be is right next to you. Sweet, cuddly, and people-focused, this little guy lives up to his name—he loves to climb, and if he’s scaling furniture or obstacles, it’s usually just his creative way of getting closer to his person. Summit is a smart cookie and learns quickly. He knows some basic commands and is food  motivated, which makes training a fun activity. He is learning that his crate is a safe space and settles in nicely after a short adjustment. He may briefly sing you the song of his people (think “tiny hyena”), but once he’s comfortable, he does just fine. He is doing great with house training! He will likely be smaller than your average German Shepherd, making him the perfect size for adventures without the giant-dog footprint. When it comes to friends, Summit is a social butterfly. He loves other dogs, is especially respectful of older pups. He adores humans of all ages—including kids. He’s cat-curious but a[[ears to want to play. He hasn’t lived with feline friends that we know of, but would likely do fine. Summit somehow skipped the classic puppy phase of biting hands and ankles, proving he’s a pretty polite little gentleman. Summit is an agile, affectionate, and joyful puppy who’s ready to grow up alongside a family that will love him as much as he loves them. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with brains, heart, and a touch of playful mischief, Summit may be your perfect match Come meet me and my friends at the 2026 Twin Cities Auto Show!
