Story
Joyful June, and that's exactly what she is: a happy, joyful girl, would love a human companion to share life with. If you're looking for a fun, loving, loyal companion to share life's adventures with, please consider Junie! Not only will June love downtime with you, laying by your side or snuggled up with her head in your lap but June would be a fantastic pal to take along on outdoor outings - nature walks, hikes, whatever it is, June will be over the moon happy to join! She loves the physical activity of being active and the exercise she receives in doing so is a must for this girl - for her mind and body - she's smart and energetic. She's definitely ready to live life to the fullest. She's friendly, affectionate, loves people, seeks out attention from humans, walks well on leash, comes when called, is house-trained and crate-trained, likes to be pet, knows "sit", loves toys (she'll carry them in her mouth and will also fetch them), and is good with cats! She lives with a couple of other large dogs right now and does very well with them, however, she does like to play hard, so, if housed with another dog, it must be the right fit. A little bit about her background: June was discovered as a stray by a good samaritan who noticed she was alone and in need. This kind person lovingly took her in and gave her all the TLC she needed with the intent of finding her a forever home. Now here June is - good and ready for her happily every after! Might it be with you? June's estimated birth date is 10/8/23 and she weighs about 45 lbs. She's spayed, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. Story
Girlie Roux is a super duper friendly 2 year old girl who is 50 pounds of love. She is so affectionate with everyone, and she is gentle with other dogs of all sizes and ages. She has impeccable house manners and gets gold stars every day in her foster home! Girlie is even learning to jog along on a leash next to her foster mom when she goes biking! Girlie’s foster mom says “This girl is the best of both worlds - fun and exciting with an adventurous spirit, then gentle and respectful when needed. She loves to run and play, she loves to swim in our pond, and if she could find a forever canine brother or sister in her new home it will make her very happy. She loves everyone she meets. She has the utmost respect for children and elderly people. Girlie loves kitties and chickens too and wants to play with them, but a simple “leave it” command and she turns back around to tell you she's a good girl for listening!!” Girlie is crate trained and housebroken. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vetting. If you’d like to make this all-around wonderful girl a member of your family, please email bigyellowdog.wendy@gmail.com for an application.

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

Story
Beefsteak is a little brindle baby that was saved from the Texas pound.  She is approx 5 months old (dob 5/1/2024).  Beefsteak is a goofy little puppy who is 90% ears. Has a beautiful coat and is incredibly motivated to learn and attached to the people around her. She would ideally find a home with a somewhat experienced dog owner as she is still working on basic training and learning to read other dogs’ body language. She is able to entertain and occupy herself with toys and does well in a create. She is 99% potty trained simply because she is still a puppy. Beefy is very quick to learn and wants to please people. She has learned sit, down (in 2 hours), working on wait, and has successfully met around 20 dogs with proper behavior! She has the potential with proper training to be an off-leashed trained dog and loves to hike and explore. Currently fostered in MA, MA license #0092 ##2149852##

Story
Jovi is 4 years old, neutered, 95 pounds, smart, loving, but he has anxiety in certain situations. He’s had a fenced yard his entire life so he needs lots of practice on a leash, and he’s nervous in the car because he hadn’t had many car rides. He needs practice there too. He would also need a harness or gentle leader or a strong person to take him on a leash because once outside he will run or pull and he’s very strong. He’s great with small dogs but he will show his alpha for a few minutes with larger dogs. He hasn’t been around cats. Jovi is very loved but due to my housing issue I have to find another home for him.
