Meet Fuji! A 4yo Dutch Shepard. She was my brother's family dog and did well with a 4 and 1yo human sisters until they were relocated overseas by the military.She is currently living with me, but she does not get along with my dogs. She can be in the same space with other dogs but gets very possessive of "her" things.She is a high energy dog and needs a place to run and play. Fuji absolutely loves to play as much fetch as you could ever imagine is possible, and then some more! Her current favorite toy is a jolly ball. She would need an experienced adopter.

Her owners never came for her. She is incredibly sweet and very friendly and is a beautiful blue reverse brindle color that pictures just don't do justice to. Daya loves to go for walks and enjoys spending time with volunteers. She also loves to go for car rides and always appreciates a good Pupachino. Daya would love a home with a couch to cuddle on , and a yard to play fetch in with her human. She is an active dog who loves to explore and would even make an excellent jogging buddy. She can be a little nervous when she first meets new people but once she has a few minutes to settle in, she is extremely affectionate and sweet. The KC PAWS staff says that Daya is so deserving of a loving home. She is goofy and just wants to soak up all the attention she can all of the time. She is a volunteer favorite for walks because she is very active and is not much of a puller on her leash. Maben is a very sweet, smart and loyal companion. She loves kids, other dogs and other people. I would like her to have a home where someone is able to be home more than I am and/or another dog. Because of my work schedule she is home about 9 hours a day. She has been very easy to train and knows both voice and hand commands for:: sit, stay, come, down, leave it and off. My reason for re-homing her is that I would like for her to have a better life where she is not alone as much.

Have any of you had a bad Valentine's day? I mean, real bad! Well, I got a story to tell you about my WORST and BEST all in one. First, the WORST part. I had my evening all planned and ready to have a great time when out of nowhere this squirrel came darting across in front of me so off I went!! So fun. So so fun. I didn't catch that varmint but if I ever see him again, it's on! To make it worse, I got turned around and couldn't find my way home. The best is that the lady brought me here and I get free food, free room, fresh linens and toys delivered daily, members only play yards and servants that come and follow me around outside to clean up after me. Adoption fee $200We have had Reba here at the Lee Lodge since the second week of January. I truly do not understand why this dog has not been adopted. We all love her so much. She is funny. I love a dog with personality and man, hers is an award winner. Reba is just over a year old now. Her perfect home has at least one playful dog over 40 lbs and no cats. She adores children. We hope she gets to have some to call her own. She loves to climb, jump, hug, punch you in the gut, play, chew, eat, cannon ball off the couch and cuddle if the time is right. She's okay in the car but nervous to get in/out. She is great in her kennel as well as potty trained. She can be skittish from time to time. She thinks nibbling on your hair is *exactly* what makes the world go round. She does pretty well on leash, a little pully if her kid is running in front of her. Goose’s original owners were heartbroken to have to rehome him, but were in a bind due to family health issues. We took him in about a month ago, and he is a sweet, silly, loving boy. He is full of energy and loves to play! But we currently have two other dogs and two cats. Goose is fine with them, but they are not adjusting well to him, and it is becoming a rapidly growing issue. And he’s a lot of dog for us to handle with all our other responsibilities. He is smart, trained to follow basic commands, and very affectionate. He needs lots of love, attention, and walks. A fenced yard or an owner experienced in dog training would be a plus.
