We adopted Odin from the Atlanta Humane Society when he was a puppy. He is beyond a good dog. He is now seven, and we are unable to give him the exercise he requires. Our schedule doesn't allow us to be as active as it used to be for him. This has caused him to act out by eating off the counters, growling if our baby gets near him, and occasionally showing obedience. This is all on us since we can't get him stimulated as he needs, and that hurts me. I want him to go somewhere that he will get all the attention and exercise that his breed desires. He is a good boy and an awesome companion when he gets to work. He is a bit wild around other dogs, so some may want to fight, but he is friendly if they are equally wild. The fee is to ensure he goes to someone who really wants him and can afford to provide for him.

This handsome GSD is Remi! He was surrendered to the shelter on 3/21. His former family did note that Remi is house trained, which is great news! The volunteers describe Remi as friendly, eager to please, and intelligent. He seems to know several commands including sit, shake, down, and stay. Remi is a working breed of dog, so he'll do best in a home where he is physically and mentally stimulated. Please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to keep up with Remi before adopting. Remi is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 62 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Remi is waiting patiently in kennel 83; his ID # is 17690. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
