Story
Gorgeous girl looking for an active partner. I am currently looking to settle down with my life partner. I am a smart girl who knows what she wants, I love to exercise and catch frisbees so another fitness nut would be ideal. I love long walks and exercise but then love to chill and cuddle on the couch. I am playful and loving and an all around good catch! I am a 2-year-old Dutch shepherd mix.  Pickles enjoys playing with dogs her size and larger but does not do well with cats or small dogs. She does best with calmer dogs as she is a high energy dog and will need continued socialization and training.  She will make a wonderful addition for a lucky active family with older kids because of her energy! Pickles's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. Story
Hi-My name is Teala.I LIKE: treats but I love a good massage.I KNOW: I am an excellent walker and I gently accept treats. The volunteers say I have good manners.IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: to join you for a stroll in the shade or for cuddles on the couch, I`m your girl.I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: if you`re looking for someone to listen to you, I`m all ears!SOMETHING ABOUT MY PAST: I have not lived with other animals but I did live with my dad. In my previous home, I was trusted to be left alone and had free roam and I know how to use a doggie door. Sometimes, I am shy around unfamiliar people and usually just hide for a while then I`m ready to give kisses.

Story
Tommie has been on medical hold recovering from her injuries caused by a car accident prior to us taking her in. Unfortunately, what was initially thought to be a fracture ended up with this sweet girl losing her left hind leg. She has been with us nearly two months in a very loving foster home and is now healed and ready to find the best home available for her. For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian's office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue. If the adopter chooses to take the pet to their own veterinarian for the spay/neuter procedure, PLAY! K9 Rescue will refund the cost equivalent to an approved PLAY! K9 Rescue veterinarian or clinic. All of our unaltered pets have a fully refundable deposit of $150.00 included within the adoption fee. Once the pet is altered at the appropriate time and proof supplied to our rescue, the adopter will be reimbursed $150.00. Our adoption contract explains this process in detail.

Story
Donut is such a sweet, calm boy despite being only about a year old and we believe a Dutch shepherd mix. He is house trained and seems to be good with all people and animals so far. He’s heartworm negative and seems to be a perfect gentleman, but he’s a bit wary of strangers so go slow with him! He’s good with other dogs and reportedly good with children as well. He loves giving gentle kisses and cuddles on the couch. He’s good in the car and not overly boisterous but does like to jump up for hugs. He is UTD on vaccinates and prevention, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative. His neuter is scheduled for April 22nd and is included in his adoption fee.

Story
Addison is looking for a quiet home with a fully fenced yard and a lot of patience and love to help her blossom She is fully vetted and is great with cats and other dogs, but is still working on trusting humans. She is about 1 year  old and just needs a family that will provide a safe space and slowly help her gain trust and confidence. She will most benefit with a fenced yard as she isn't comfortable on a leash just yet. Her favorite human currently is her 13 year old human foster sister who she trusts the most for nail trims and baths. Addison does great once she is comfortable with humans, but requires some patience in time in the beginning. We know she can continue to blossom  and learn to trust, especially when she is in her permanent forever home She is going to be such a wonderful companion in the right home. She can't wait to meet you!   ##1993669##

Story
This cute and quirky ~1 year old girl is looking for a forever family with at least one other dog and a fenced in yard. Ainsley is fully vetted and is great with cats and other dogs, but is still working on fully trusting humans. However, she LOVES to play with other dogs and will thrive with another playful doggie to romp around a fenced yard with. She is hoping for a family that will love her so much that she will finally have one home to stay in forever and continue to blossom and bond with her humans. Once she is comfortable with humans, she does very well with them. When she isn't sure of them, she keeps to herself and is not aggressive in any way. She is going to be such a wonderful companion in the right home. She can't wait to meet you! ##1993673##
