Story
Gorgeous girl looking for an active partner. I am currently looking to settle down with my life partner. I am a smart girl who knows what she wants, I love to exercise and catch frisbees so another fitness nut would be ideal. I love long walks and exercise but then love to chill and cuddle on the couch. I am playful and loving and an all around good catch! I am a 2-year-old Dutch shepherd mix.  Pickles enjoys playing with dogs her size and larger but does not do well with cats or small dogs. She does best with calmer dogs as she is a high energy dog and will need continued socialization and training.  She will make a wonderful addition for a lucky active family with older kids because of her energy! Pickles's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. If you want to meet Pickles fill out an adoption application at www.pawprinthearts.com.January 15, 2025, 12:37 am

Story
4yr old Daisy is looking for a new home! No fault to her own just do not have the time she requires. Very energetic and playful! Wonderful manners in her crate and on/off leash but is not house trained. This ball of energy needs lots of exercise and will need to be socialized with new people and animals. She does live on a working farm around horses, cows, and chickens so she is used to a busy environment. Currently same gender aggressive and has a very high prey drive so she would do best in a single pet home for now. Easy to groom and handle, she is a lovebug who just needs some extra time spent with her. Picture is her(smaller) and her brother.

Story
4yr old Bear is up for rehoming! No fault of his own, just needs more time spent with him. Crated trained, easy to groom, and has good manners on/off leash but is not house trained. Will need socialization with new people and animals, he does live on a working farm with horses, cows, and chickens so he is used to a fast-paced environment. Same gender aggressive currently and has a high prey drive so a single pet household would be a better fit for him at first. Sweet and cuddly but loves playing fetch, he'll be happy with whatever his person is doing!

Story
4yr old Blue is ready for a new home! No fault of his own just needs more time spent with him. What a people pleaser! He's a huge goofball and cuddler who loves playing fetch. Very well manned in cage and on/off leash but is not house trained. Lives on a working farm around horses, cows and chickens so he's used to a busy environment but still has a prey drive. Will need socialization with strangers and other animals so a single pet home would be best at first. While he doesn't need someone with experience with the breed he does have aggression with the same gender dogs and will need someone who can work with him on that and give him plenty of exercise.

4yr old Trigger is looking for his new home! Sweet and well mannered boy who loves to run and play! Not house trained and has some accidents in crate occasionally but is good in it otherwise and walks good on/off leash. Lives on working farm with horses, cows and chickens so is used to the fast pace but still has a prey drive. Same gender aggressive and a little more shy than his siblings he'll need someone to take the time to socialize him and continue his training. Single pet household is preferred at first.

Story
Calling all foster or foster to adopt friends! This handsome guy needs a loving home to blossom. Do we have any takers out there? Duke cannot be in a home with a small dog. Duke is an 8yr old neutered Dutch Shepherd, medium to high drive, friendly with all people, basic commands in German, non reactive to dogs, reduced adoption fee. For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. Please note, we will not approve an adoption to individuals or families residing in rental apartments. Typically, apartment complexes have pet policies on restricted breeds and weights which includes German Shepherd Dogs, Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, bully breeds, etc. These dog breeds are not breeds that will thrive in an apartment setting regardless of the management pet policy. Our adoption policy is non-negotiable.

Story
Looking for a good forever home for my loving dog Luka. Luka is a 4 yr old, 95 pound German shepherd mix. He is a very lovable and playful dog. He loves laying on your lap while your watching TV and bringing his toys to you to play with him. I adopted him from the SPCA when he was 2 months old. He is crate trained and loves going in there to relax. Would prefer a home with a fenced in backyard for him to run in and get exercise. Any other questions or information, please feel free to ask.
