🐾💙Buddy is looking for his FOREVER HOME 💙 We rescued this sweetheart a couple of weeks ago from city of Blakely Animal Control. He was their longest resident and had been living in an outside pen with a foster since last July. We wanted to give him some time to settle into living inside a home before putting him up for adoption, but he has settled right in and is ready for his FOREVER!! Buddy is a 1 1/2 year old Dutch Shepherd mix and weighs 52 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. He is potty trained, crate trained, dog and kid friendly. The first year of his life has not been great but we are going to make sure the rest of his life he is a treasured part of a loving family. He is the sweetest boy and loves to be right with his person. He is in a loving foster home in Crystal River, Florida. Hello, I'm Elio. I was brought into the county shelter as a stray before coming to VOCAL. I can be a bit shy and nervous with new people, so I definitely need a person with patience who can help bring me out of my shell. However, I act like a different dog when I'm around other dogs! I love to play with dogs and being around them helps boost my confidence greatly. One other thing about me is that I love to chew on toys! Even though I can make a bit of a mess, I sure have a good time while doing it! Don't blame a guy for having fun!

We rescued Biscuit in March 25 from a bad home when he was bout 12 weeks old. Since then he’s been great but my toddler is still terrified of him and my senior cat constantly terrorizes him as he gets older. He’s partially house trained but due to my son he’s had to spend a lot of his time in the crate. I haven’t been able to work with him as I have 2 toddlers and my husband doesn’t get home till it’s dark outside. I’m unsure of how he does with other dogs but I really want for him to go to a loving home.
