Story
Annie is a gorgeous 3-year-old female Dutch Shepherd mix. She is a very happy, sensitive, smart, and energetic dog. Annie is house trained. She knows the commands sir, lay down and stay. She walks fairly well on leash, she may pull a bit if there is a squirrel to investigate. She usually enjoys a good run at the dog park then she sleeps for the rest of the day. Annie is great with the 1, 2, and 5-year-old children she loves with. She is dog-selective but can be great with other dogs who are more submissive. Annie does have a high prey drive, so she shouldn't be with cars or small dogs. Annie is a very sweet dog who loves to cuddle and loves belly rubs. She does not bark unless she hears something suspicious outside. Annie does need a good fenced in yard or she will try to get out and find neighborhood buddies to play with. Annie would make a really wonderful companion and hiking dog. She weighs 75 pounds and is full grown. She is microchipped. Meet and greets are by appointment only with approved applicants. Adoption fee is waved but the application process is not. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups should be on heartworm preventative, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Story
We've had Annie with our 2 other dogs and children for the last 3 years. She's the sweetest dog ever and will not hesitate to try to jump on the couch or bed with you. Unfortunately, our house has gotten too busy and she's not able to get out and get the exercise and attention she craves and needs. I feel like she would flourish with someone(s) who can give her a lot of undivided attention and a place she could run and roam for hours.

Story
*Needs new home immediately* Dingo is high energy, very intelligent, and a loyal companion. He does not seem to understand social cues from other dogs. This is the primary reason we are rehoming. He has taken obedience classes and understands sit, down (lay down), stay (lay down position), and focus. He is currently prescribed a flea and tick monthly chewable.

Story
Our beautiful girl is called Kassidy and had a pure German Shepherd momma and dad was a pure Great Pyrenees.  Born on 11/4, this girl is ready for a new home and will be such a wonderful companion for a family.   She is going to be a large girl when fully grown and has the best temperament that is gentle and shy and very smart.  Her curiosity is so sweet to see and what a lover she is when you call her to you for some attention.  You see the first 9 weeks of her life she got little to no attention from the man who owned their GSD Momma.  We are making up for that time now!  The combination of  the German Shepherd intelligence and devotion and the kind gentle spirit of the Great Pyrenees makes a special puppy to consider for your family.  We require that you have Shepherd or Great Pyrenees experience and a fenced yard.  No condos or apartment homes for this large breed and roaming oriented breed of puppy.  She will be a great family pet that will enjoy the company of children, other dogs and even cats.  We anticipate her grow up to be a 80 pound girl when fully grown up!!!   And of course she will be a head-turning beauty!  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    She is ready for a new life and loving family NOW!!!!! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 28, 2025, 9:28 pm

Story
Hello, Belgian here, and I am (you guessed it!) a Belgian Malinois. While I don`t expect you to brush up on your Flemish Dutch, I would love it if you learned some about Belgian Malinois before we finalize our adoption. A few Cliff Notes here: I like to work (I know this may sound odd, but it`s true). My breed is valued by police departments and militaries for its strength and stamina, its dexterity, its loyalty, and its eagerness to please. What this means is: If I get exercise and enrichment and training (plenty of each), I`ll be a fantastic companion.I was found as a stray, so the shelter doesn`t know much about me. It took me a moment to settle in here, but I have already demonstrated that I can warm up easily to new people. So, if you have an interest in exploring a rich life together -- whether you speak Flemish or not -- let`s get started today!
