Meet Bolero!Bolero is a 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd with a heart full of potential and energy to match. This handsome boy recently went on a Doggie Day Out adventure on 3/5, where he got to show off his playful side and work on his leash skills. At first, Bolero had a lot of pent-up energy, but once he had a chance to explore and sniff around, he settled into a great walking companion. He walked nicely on leash and became more connected with his handler as the day went on. Bolero loves to play ball and enjoys engaging with toys, making him a great fit for an active home.He can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet and smart personality starts to shine. He knows how to sit nicely and takes treats gently, showing he’s ready to learn with the right guidance.Bolero would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental enrichment. If you`re looking for a loyal companion with lots of potential, Bolero is ready to be your new best friend!Come meet Bolero and give him the second chance he’s been waiting for!

Story
Kinzie is the spunkiest, smartest, most energetic girl! She spent most of her life in the shelter but thanks to CBR saving her you wouldn’t even know it. She’s so intelligent, even just one training session with her she picks up so much! Her leash skills are great, she loves her crate, and is fully potty trained! Kinzie loves being outside, and would do great in an active home wanting to walk, run, or hike daily. She can be a little shy at first with new people, but feed her a treat and she warms up quickly. She’s fiercely loyal to her people and loves to please them. She loves affection and will do anything to earn your touch! She’s working on her jumping, so would probably be best in a home with adults only or older children. Kinzie is the sweetest girl and would love to be a part of your home!

Story
Ronnie is a loving, loyal and obedient 2 year old dutch shephard who is being raised with my 3 children ranging in age from 4 - 14. She was found on our doorstep when she was ~5 weeks old and we've been raising her ever since with our lab / ridgeback mix who is 3 years old. She generally plays well with our other dog but does display dominance over her and can be rough with her.

Story
The two photos show how her fur changes color in the Sun versus in the shade. Vivian is the biggest love bug you will ever meet, she adores affection and attention. She lived a very rough life on the streets and was written off by many other rescues as unfavorable because of her advanced abscesses and sexually transmitted cancer that she was facing. The recommendation was to euthanize her. Thankfully her advocate contacted us and with the help with our skilled veterinarian team we were able to save her! She is now ready to start the next chapter in her life cancer free!

Story
Mikey was born on January 4, 2018, in Southern California. He is a purebred dog with AKC paperwork and is not neutered. Mikey is crate-trained, but he is not housebroken and spends most of his time outdoors. He seldom barks at other dogs and is friendly around both people and dogs. However, I'm unsure how he would react to cats. Mikey is energetic and affectionate, and he has never exhibited any aggressive behavior toward anyone. Additionally, he has no health issues. Over the past few years, my work schedule has changed, and I am now away from home for at least 60 to 70 hours each week.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Yoru is a big boy but thinks he is a lap dog. He is demanding of cuddles and pats. He can be clingy but is also content occupying himself with his toys or lounging around. He can be shy or hesitant around new people approaching him, but is easily won over with treats. He gets along with other dogs while he is at his pet sitters. He knows basic commands and can press command buttons to request to eat, get treats or go potty and go play. (We don’t think he fully understands them, but he tries to get reactions from them.) He is overall very quiet, only barks when a stranger comes to close or whines when impatient to eat or to go outside. He likes to play tug of war, chase and catch. Enjoys sunbathing, gazing out the window, and people watching. He is diagnosed with epilepsy and is on medication. Family is struggling to meet his needs for supervision and medication admin. Upcoming life changes will create additional burden. We hope he can go to a family whom can better meet his needs.
