Story
Meet Zeus⚡ * Toward People: Can be a little shy at first. However, once he warms up to people and the environment, he becomes kind and gentle even if someone lifts or touches him unexpectedly. Appreciates human warmth and prefers to lie against or be touched by people. * Toward Dogs: Is getting along well with other doggy friends at Adogs Center! Sometimes acts a little aggressively leading to possible fights when he gets to roused up during play with other dogs. Needs to be carefully watched when he plays with other dogs. * Separation Anxiety: It is unknown due to Zeus living at the Center with other dogs. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: Enjoys being brushed but is scared of having his nails trimmed. There should be frequent walks to allow the toenail to be trimmed naturally. * Walks: Slightly scared of a leash and needs to take time in wearing a leash. However, once outside, he does not pull it and walks well in whatever direction a walker pleases. Fears the sounds of cars and motorcycle by the street. * Car sick: Has no carsickness. Has no trouble getting up and down the car! 💌Special Note💌 * Is very gentle and will not bite his caretaker in any situation. * As he occasionally gets into confrontations with other dogs, it would be best if he were the only dog. * Because all the dogs poop in the same area at the Center, Zeus has a habit scatophagy. Any excrement should be cleaned right away. (Scatophagy can be remedied quickly with a training at home.) * Missing his left ear due to a birth defect, but Zeus has no problem with hearing!

Story
**He is currently in Seattle** Mukgoo is about 5 years old. He was found near an army base in Korea and immigrated to America around the age of 1 on President’s Day of 2020. He is an incredibly smart and lovable dog. He is kind and loves people (loves dogs and people). He will eat almost anything (except veggies). He can be a jumper when he gets very excited. He prefers households with another dog and a big yard to run around in but it’s not a non-negotiable. He has always adjusted well to whatever the circumstance. Overall, he’s a good dog and he’s got a lot of love to give. I’m having to give him up due to being unable to raise him in my current life stage. In no way, this is due to any bad behaviors or anything. He’s a really kind-hearted and sweet dog. Likes - He loves playing fetch (quickest way to his heart), rolling in the grass, puppycinos, ice cream, snow, people, dogs - Historically has liked lamb, fish skin, salmon, bully sticks, dental sticks, sweet potato, etc. In general, he loves to eat~ - Very social and prefers to greet other dogs and people, including dog parks, doggy day cares Dislikes - He dislikes bath but who does - He doesn’t like being alone but can manage a few hours if needed - No longer is a fan of veggies - Fireworks and big noises Things to Watch out for - Throwing up: If you let him freely eat grass, he’ll throw up. When he feels stressed, he can react by throwing up. - He can be independent when he is fixated on things. Just be patient with him and he will come back to focus on you. He is a people pleaser. - He rarely barks. He may bark when other dogs bark but even that is rare. He is more of a whiner. If he needs to let you know something, he will whine. - Not a counter surfer but can be if you let him Commands He knows his basic commands (sit, down, hand, etc.) and is open to learning new ones as well. Potty He is used to peeing and pooing outside. Once you create a regular spot and time for him, it’s clockwork. Otherwise, just be aware when he whines that it may be time to go. - At a high level, he knows “go potty” and “go poo” as a sign to go to the bathroom - He will rarely go pee or poo inside the home. Once in a million tries, a thing like that can happen during the night but he’s really sorry when he does. Leash He has never been fully off-leash, only in areas that condone it (home, backyard, dog park, etc.). He is not one to go off-leash and run away. He’ll run around and try to have you play with him. Keep him on a short leash if you need to focus on walking as he can veer away due to his interest in sniffing. Once on a short leash, he’ll understand and walk along. However, give him time to sniff as he is very curious with smells. Sleep He can sleep together or on his own if you’re in a different room or floor. He is also loves to cuddle up as well. When there’s fireworks, it’s recommended you sleep where he sees you because he’s afraid of the loud sounds. Food He is on one meal a day. If you give him two meals a day, he may not eat the first meal. Snacks though he loves. He knows how to sit and wait for food. He is currently on Costco’s salmon and sweet potato meal.

Story
Meet Mila! This stunning 1.5 year old Dutch Shepherd hasn't had the easiest start to life, but you would never know! She was living in a car in the 90*+ heat in Los Angeles with her 7 puppies. The owners didn't want her anymore and left the entire family in deplorable conditions. Luckily, they were surrendered to our rescue so we could find them amazing forever homes. Not only is Mila great with other dogs of all sizes, but she's amazing with kiddos too. She can be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up and wants to shower you with her sweetness. She has a medium energy that is great for a wide variety of families. Mila just completed two weeks of basic training where she learned a handful of commands including excellent walking skiills. She is fully potty trained.

Story
Meet Josephine! This sleek beauty is approximately 5-years-old and weighs 75-lbs. She is a dream, easily one of the nicest dogs we've known. Josie gets along with other dogs and is affectionate and loving. And she's definitely a head turner. Josephine was pulled from the shelter where she was out of time due to severe skin issues and losing weight. She went straight to our vet where she was fully vetted, including bloodwork, biopsy, fine needle aspiration and culture tests. She is also on a hypoallergenic/hydrolyzed diet. Josephine loves playing with balls and never met a ball she didn't like. She enjoys going for walks and rides wonderfully in the car. Josephine is spayed, up to date on shots, fully vetted, and microchipped. Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Josephine, please go to our website and fill out an application. Los Angeles and surrounding area adoptions only
