The two photos show how her fur changes color in the Sun versus in the shade. Vivian is the biggest love bug you will ever meet, she adores affection and attention. She lived a very rough life on the streets and was written off by many other rescues as unfavorable because of her advanced abscesses and sexually transmitted cancer that she was facing. The recommendation was to euthanize her. Thankfully her advocate contacted us and with the help with our skilled veterinarian team we were able to save her! She is now ready to start the next chapter in her life cancer free!

Story

Obie (short for Old Boy) is a sweet old boy looking for a comfy couch to call his own. He has a beautiful fluffy coat that he enjoys a nice brushing of. Obie is a quiet and dignified couch potato. He is fine with everyone but particularly loves men. He loves ear scratches and a nice snooze. Obie is currently on medication for seizures. He takes this medication twice a day and it has greatly reduced his occurrence of seizures. He takes his medications easily if hidden in cream cheese, sour cream or yogurt. Obie is house trained with a doggie door right now. He enjoys spending his afternoons outside relaxing. He can be scared by loud things like fireworks but has done well with CBD as needed for this very specific anxiety. Obie does not really care for treats or toys. Treats he has enjoyed for training include lamb roast, mashed potatoes and eggs. He thinks vegetables are yucky. He seems to have been new to dog food but has taken to it well with some patience. Obie currently lives with another large dog and gets along well with her. She will even snap at him sometimes and he will not really react. He simply wants to be her friend. We also believe Obie will be fine with mannerly children. He has met toddlers and takes care to not knock them over. When meeting cats indoors, Obie was excited but did not necessarily exhibit high prey drive. He allowed his foster mom to call him back as she removed the cat. When he sees cats outdoors he like to try to chase them, though this is true of most dogs (even those that live with cats). All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for private and/or group training at no additional cost to help ensure a successful adoption. Hello, we have had Sunnie since 3months old. She is very mature and smart. She loves to have some attention and then she can do her own thing. She loves walks and runs. She is still learning heel but knows over 8 commands. Sit, lay, roll over, play dead (by saying bang bang) come, leave it, drop it, and fetch. She has many very great qualities and needs a good backyard to play in. She tears up most beds unless it's very comfortable. We are possibly moving and have 2 other dogs as well. We don't have room for all 3 unfortunately. We love them all and want them all and have never done this before. We are conflicted about this, we feel it may be the best way for her happiness and are sad. But can answer any questions you have.
