Kuma is a GREAT family pet. He is equal parts gentle, loving, protective and playful. He travels extremely well, is very good at restaurants and the office. He is ball crazy and needs to be run a couple times per day. Its truly heartbreaking to put him up for adoption, however, I will be moving out of the country and its unfortunately not practical to bring him.

Story
Meet beautiful Molly. She was found in the middle of nowhere, in the bones, and with too much fear, she tried to bite us until she could understand that we were not going to hurt her, we just wanted to help her, and she got on her belly, letting me know that she trusted me. She is a really sweet, intelligent, loving dog, she has too much love to give, and she needs to receive even more. She is a very loyal dog, and tends to dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She gets excited when she goes for a walk, she likes to see new places and sometimes she is a little shy at first with strangers but she understands quickly when people don't want to hurt her. On the contrary when she knows that people are a threat to her or to you, she is very protective. She gets along well with very few male dogs, she is dominant and does not usually play with other dogs, but she gets along very well with adults and children, she would be ideal for a family with small children, she knows how to measure her strength, and she is not at all rude with babies. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Meet Little Miss! This pup, along with her mom (Amara) and 10 other siblings, transferred to us from the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility at 6 days of age! Little Miss is considered to be the runt of the litter and was half the size of the rest of her siblings as a young pup. She has since caught up in weight and size but is definitely smaller than her siblings. Don't let her tiny stature fool you! This adorable baby girl is the most outgoing of the group! She is one sweet & mighty mini! Check out Amara & pups' rescue story here: https://www.facebook.com/heartofgoldsshelter/posts/pfbid07LVqvxwreznCQSQH2FAkhJhV7bYrU6XqwVUMyvsL9vSaPQYUFQZqHZQnQzgmrU7rl Health considerations: Little Miss was diagnosed with moderate hip dysplasia. Corrective surgery is not required at this time and may or may not be required later in life. She may be more prone to develop arthritis in life and is taking joint supplements daily. No changes in exercise are required in the average household. Additional Note: First two photos taken at 1 year of age. Third photo taken at 6 months of age. Final photo taken at 2 months of age. Regarding COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses: Please reschedule any visits if you are sick.
