Story
Remi was a rescue dog from off the streets. I took her in and got her back to good health and vaccinated. She is a fun, energetic, loving dog. She is an only dog unfortunately. She does fine on walks around other dogs but living with another will not work out. She is just over a year old and very well house trained she just can’t seem to share the house with another dog.

Story
Great dog. Highly intelligent and athletic. He excelled at obedience training and has mastered sit, down, heel, place, and break; he is an excellent candidate for protection training. We got him from a breeder in Chicago. He is good-natured but views our other dog, a 7-lb Malshi, as competition. We will be sad to part with Jax but he will make a great companion and protector for someone.

Story
How can a dog both be very driven and calm? Meet Sparkle Osa! She is a gust of wind going after a ball, but after a workout she'll relax hanging on the couch. Sparkle learned "place" within seconds (no joke), "leave it," and drops the ball at your feet after fetching. Our trainer volunteer described Sparkle Osa as a 'learning enthusiast' who craves the mental challenge. Reflecting the hallmark traits of a Dutch Shepherd, Sparkle Osa is as athletic as she is clever. She runs lightning fast during a game of chase and jumps effortlessly for a bouncing ball. Sparkle Osa shows bright promise as a competent working dog in obedience and dog sports. Her potential is awe-inspiring! Sparkle Osa is seeking a home with a structured environment and a confident, benevolent leader. She thrives under clear boundaries and guidance, and will flourish with an owner who is calm, assertive, and able to provide consistency. Her ideal match is someone who leads with patience and strength, allowing her to quickly settle into her new home with trust and respect. If you are that person and looking for a focused, motivated, and loyal companion, then apply for Sparkle Osa. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat.
