Butch is the perfect companion for active individuals or families who love outdoor activities. Whether you're into running, hiking, or playing a good game of fetch, Butch is ready to be your loyal sidekick! He's a champ on a leash, loves tug of war, and is quickly learning the ropes of fetch. But don't let his playful nature fool you—he can be just as happy being a couch potato, soaking up all the love and attention. This loyal boy absolutely adores booty scratches and has a special fondness for being brushed and dried off after bath time. He's great with older kids and has shown he can play well with them. Canyon was one of seven, 7-month old puppies that were found abandoned on the streets in horrible condition. They were picked up by animal control and taken to the local shelter. Soon after arrival, they found themselves scheduled for euthanasia due to all of them having sarcoptic mange — a highly contagious skin infection transferable to both humans and dogs, yet treatable with medications and time. We knew these seven wondrous souls deserved a chance at life and needed our help to heal. After being saved from euthanasia, these Seven Wonders pups were kept in isolation at Heidi’s Village, where they received the intensive medical treatments they desperately needed. After two months, our young puppies are now fully recovered and ready to experience a life full of love and joy. Canyon is just one of the Seven Wonders looking for families who will be patient and help them learn what having a home really means, including everything from a sense of safety to the warmth of a loving embrace. We found Bob (we named him) running around our neighborhood community, hungry and thirsty. No name tag, no chip, no owner (no one claimed him) he is a sweet and active boy who craves activity, play, and love. He does well with other dogs (especially those that will jump and play with him). He is able to use the dog door and is trained to go outside. Shake and sit are commands he understands and especially for treats. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep such a sweet and playful boy as we have 3 other dogs and have recently became full time caregivers for elderly family. He really needs to have active family who can give him the attention and care he deserves. We are looking for a family to welcome Bob into their family and love him unconditionally.
