Story
MEET JACK JACK!! Jack Jack is a happy, social dog whose loyalty to anyone he loves is such a gift! Jack Jack is potty trained, good with kids, does well with cats after he gets over his initial excitement of meeting them, does well with other dogs, sleeps through the night, & is energetic/playful. Jack Jack has separation anxiety & struggles being away from whichever adult he sees as the alpha. He does not enjoy crate time & will cry loudly for someone to get him even if he can see you. He loves riding in cars but requires a divider between the front seats and backseats because he will be jumping around. He is extremely loyal & will need someone who can be patient with him while he builds trust & security in a new home. Jack Jack is a great dog and will make a great pet for someone who will put in the effort. If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com.February 1, 2025, 3:07 am

Story
Canyon was one of seven, 7-month old puppies that were found abandoned on the streets in horrible condition. They were picked up by animal control and taken to the local shelter. Soon after arrival, they found themselves scheduled for euthanasia due to all of them having sarcoptic mange — a highly contagious skin infection transferable to both humans and dogs, yet treatable with medications and time. We knew these seven wondrous souls deserved a chance at life and needed our help to heal. After being saved from euthanasia, these Seven Wonders pups were kept in isolation at Heidi’s Village, where they received the intensive medical treatments they desperately needed. After two months, our young puppies are now fully recovered and ready to experience a life full of love and joy. Canyon is just one of the Seven Wonders looking for families who will be patient and help them learn what having a home really means, including everything from a sense of safety to the warmth of a loving embrace. We know that happy endings are just around the corner for Canyon! Each puppy’s adoption fee includes his/her completed veterinary exams, completed medical treatments, vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. To meet one of these most precious Seven Wonders who are sure to show you just how brave and awe-inspiring they truly are, visit https://lovethemallrescue.org/adoptable-puppies#7f1c3b00-f18d-40ed-9534-716d4e013fa2

Story
Meet Ravi! Ravi is an 9 year old German Shepherd blend. He is a big, lean boy and weighs around 75 pounds. Ravi has a very gentle and sweet personality. He loves hanging out on the couch, and prefers to sleep on a dog bed next to his human's bed. Ravi is house trained and dog door trained. He loves walks and he does get excited when he meets other dogs. He loves attention from humans and likes to know where everyone in the house is hanging out. Ravi has previously lived with another dog and a cat (as long as the cat doesn't run!). However, he doesn't like to share his food so he'll do best as your only canine companion (but he can always meet new dog friends as long as there's no food or treats involved!). He is an excellent passenger in the car and seems to really enjoy car rides. Ravi loves toys and balls and has chosen a big stuffed fish as his favorite and carries it around everywhere. He listens and follows directions well. He knows sit, stay, come, wait, and will give you his paw for shake. Ravi is gentle taking treats. Ravi is a "safety first" kind of boy so he has learned to get in and out of the pool! Ravi is neutered, licensed, current on vaccinations and microchipped. He is being spoiled by one of our amazing foster homes, and will be at the adoption center on Saturdays from 10am-4pm. You may email Debbie@AzFriends.org to arrange a weekday meeting. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the dog. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Hank is a 1-1/2 year old Shepherd blend (approximately 60 pounds) who joined us recently from a county facility. As would be expected with his young age, he is a high energy guy. He's also a very curious, follow your nose, kind of guy. Hank is a very friendly, equal opportunity fellow, who wants to say hello to every human he sees. He is treat motivated and working with our volunteers on leash manners and basic commands. His favorite activity is running around our Scentral Park to burn off energy. Hank is enjoying being spoiled by one of our amazing foster homes, and will be at the adoption center on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Story
Oso will be a year in January, had him for about 6 months. He’s quick to learn and has full of energy! I was hoping to rent out a house with a backyard for him plans didn’t go that way. I would like to give a home where he has open room. He loves people and is kind with kids. I’m not looking to charge any price, him having a good home is good enough. Thank you!
