Story
**Barn Cat** Rainbow is a stunningly beautiful, black, eight-month-old kitten. He was rescued with his mom and two tabby sisters (Kitten and Surprise). Unfortunately for Rainbow, the socialization window had already closed for him despite the three of them spending plenty of time in foster care with loving humans. He is very food-motivated, is a great hunter, and enjoys the company of other cats. Rainbow and his sister Kitten are available for adoption as barn cats. Perhaps in the future (and in his preferred environment) he'll realize that humans are not so scary after all. If you're interested in meeting Rainbow and Kitten, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Story
Hi, lovely humans! I am Arya, a seven-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a calm, and quiet place to call my forever home. When I visited the vet, they thought I was younger than I am. (They know how to charm an older girl, I guess!) I get nervous in new environments, but, as I get to know where I am, I accept a home and kind people so warmly. I love to sit on laps and legs; my favorite place to sleep is on top of my human's chest. I get startled pretty easily as first, but the more I acclimate, the more comfortable I become. I love to follow my human from room to room, and I love to be touching her. Ribbons and string toys make me play like a kitten, and I am a big fan of catnip. Wait until you hear how loud I purr! I have never lived with other pets, and I think I like it best that way. If you're interested in meeting me, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Story
This soft and cuddly grey and white lady will purr, drool, make biscuits, and rub her face all over proffered human limbs. When she's not watching birds from a cozy perch by the window, she's soliciting pets from her humans. This serene, royal love bug came from a home with many cats.

Story
Meet Jade, an eight year-old grey tabby cat, who is a friendly, independent, yet curious sweet pea. Jade loves to spend the day doing self-care and sleeping in a cozy spot. She likes cat nip, ear scratches, and butt taps. She has middle-aged kitty energy who needs some playtime encouragement, but will surprise attack any toys laying around. Jade is good at communicating her feelings and gently setting boundaries. However, she loves to keep you company and will find a place at the end of your bed. She will do best in a household that can give her alone time but also show her some good loving. If you have been captivated by her beautiful green eyes, sign up to adopt Jade!

Story
Mitch is the Goodest Boy! Always down for a head scratch, booty pat, or cozy chair snuggle. He will welcome you home with a scratchy meow! He's put up with a lot since he came to our rescue. Starting with a full body shave of his long matted fur, then we discovered a leg wound and he wound up at the Vet with stitches and vaccines. However he was a champ the whole time and behaved so well. Mitch is FIV + and his fur will grow back into long luxurious locks so he will need an adopter that understands both these attributes and attends to them. But he will make up for it in love, I promise!
