Story
Strype and his fur-buddy, Tux, came to CVHS when their family moved, and were unable to take them. Tux has since been adopted which leaves Strype looking for his forever home. It has taken Strype a while to show his personality and even now only comes out for a few individuals. When he is comfortable with someone he will let you pet him. He knows when it`s feeding time here and will watch and meow at the door. Strype has been exposed to children, and with his timid personality, we feel that a home with no children would be best. He has met canines in his previous home, but were scared of them, so he is looking for a canine-free home. He is doing good with his feline roommates and would enjoy a friend in his next home. He needs a family willing to be patient with him adjusting to his new surroundings. Stripe enjoys climbing, so would love a cat tree in his next home, so he can watch you from above.

Story
Beetlejuice came to CVHS due to allergies in the home. At first he can be timid, but with someone willing to be patient he will become outgoing pretty quickly. Unlike the movie, Beetlejuice is an extremely sweet boy with a lot to say. He can be a playful boy, but also enjoys being a couch potato. While receiving attention, he will often make biscuits and show his affection through kisses. Beetle juice has lived with cats, dogs, and older children and did well with all of them. However, he often just ignored the canines in the home. Beetlejuice is scared of loud noises, so would probably do best in a quieter home. Because Beetlejuice has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) he does need a home that is knowledgeable about the virus and can provide for him. Ask our adoption counselor about our FIV hand-out written by one of our supporting veterinarians to learn more.

Story
Crow was brought to CVHS when his owner was unable to care for him and his feline siblings (who have already been adopted). He`s shy at first but is a sweet cat, who seeks a home with lots of love. He may seem timid at first, but if you give him a few cheek scratches and some gentle coos, Crow will melt your heart with his hearty purr. He is currently in a room with other felines and is doing great with them.

Story
Apricot came to CVHS due to not being a good fit for the family who took her in. She is an elegant gal who enjoys basking in the sunshine and showing off her beautiful purr. While she is not an attention seeker, she wouldn`t object to being pet. She has experience being an indoor-only cat who had feline, canine, and children roommates. Although she has experience with dogs and children, she would rather not live with them. She is doing fine with her feline roommates here at the adoption center. She would enjoy a serene environment to call her own. She will need a family willing to be patient with her as she adjusts to his new surroundings.

Story
Morticia came into CVHS due to not getting along with other felines in her home. She would like to find a place with consistency, a cozy place to cat nap, and a human to give her attention. She is an independent girl who will seek attention occasionally to get her pets in. Morticia is used to being indoors most of the time, occasionally getting outside while supervised. To keep Morticia healthy she received a dental, and needed some teeth extracted, but now is good to go!
