My name's Rocket! Me 'n my brother Riley got caught in a trap together a couple of months ago and we were SUPER angry!! It's taken us a hot minute (or 2) to settle down but now we're ready to be part of a family! You read about Riley the other day (he's a pretty good guy) but this will be all about ME! I'm a really handsome light grey tabby boy, about 1 yr old! I'm kinda shy at first but I LOVE when the shelter people talk nice & give me ear scratches & pets!! I really like having a place to hide here at the shelter because it's pretty noisy with all the dogs barking! But I bet your house won't be so scary, so maybe I won't need to hide anymore?? Churro is a female cat that was left behind along with 20+ cats/kittens when the people moved. Churro is actually from the same house that most of our other cats have come from (and since been adopted). Churro was living outdoors in the elements before we were finally able to trap her after months. We've rescued the others from the house, but Churro was the last. Churro is sweet, chill, and food motivated. Churro was living with Beetle Juice, Lorelai, Ramen, and Jessie's Girl (all of whom we still have). Other cats/kittens that have already been rescued and adopted are Black Jack, White Castle, Murphy, Gerard, Sk8er Boi, Rory, Luke, Sookie, Paris, and Avril Lavigne. Now Churro is looking for her furever home off the streets and out of the elements.

I'm a real tough kitty with a long history of living at an abandoned house in misery. There's been over 20+ cats that have also been rescued from the same house. It's time for me to "close my eyes and try to get some sleep" because I'm no longer "running in the shadows of the night" trying to find safety. I will be ready for my new home after I get spayed, FIV tested, and up to date on my shots. I no longer want to think of "love is a battlefield" but rather somewhere I can safely lay my head at night without having to search for my meals. What do you say? Hey, Kiara here again. The humans asked me to give another interview now that my sister got an awesome home. I'm still an independent woman. I enjoy watching the hubbub from afar. I really enjoy climbing and sitting in a window hammock. It's just so relaxing!! I like to come down every now and then and get some pets from the humans. They are just cute sometimes. And they do give some good pets. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast! As soon as I hear that dish clinking, I come a running!! That's when I really enjoy having a human.
