Story
Meet Auburn:This sweet girl has been with us since she was just a few days old. Her foster mom bottle-fed and cared for her, but noticed something was wrong with her eyes when she was just a few weeks old. After a few visits to the vet, it was determined that she had eyelid agenesis, a genetic condition where part of her eyelid is missing. Thankfully, it isn`t serious enough to require any surgery or medications related to her eyes. She loves to play, cuddle, and be held. She plays with dogs in her foster home and should be okay with cats as long as she is introduced to them safely. Currently, the cats in her foster home are seniors and don`t appreciate her activity level. If you are interested in adopting Auburn, please complete an application on our website at www.allpawsrescueok.org. Her adoption fee is $100. She is spayed, vaccinated for this year, negative for FELV/FIV, microchipped, dewormed, and microchipped.

Story
I was born in a garage of a PAWS-OK volunteers neighbor with my four sisters and brothers.  We were raised by our mom (ShuShu) in a PAWS foster home and now I am ready for a new home!  I am a typical kitten and love to play and jump around with my siblings. I like toys and running all over the place.  I would love to have another pet in my new home because I have never been by myself in my whole life and I enjoy playmates. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   February 2, 2025, 4:26 pm
