Story
Alpine is a sweet girl who was lost and joined up with a cat community because she was hungry. A feeder thought she might have been attacked by a dog so after her recovery she came to rescue to find a home. We noticed that Alpine's eyes were dilated all the time so we rushed her to the vet who specializes in eye diseases. Just in a short time her retinas had detached, most likely due to her traumatic experience of the dog attack, and despite all efforts she is blind. Blind cats adjust well in a home where they can learn where everything is placed and can live a happy life. Alpine is very sweet and loves being petted Please let us know if you feel you might be able to provide her a loving home. Our voice mail is 918-998-7388

Story
Hello, I'm Kitae. I may be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you. I'm just taking my time to get to know you. I'm a mellow soul, preferring quiet corners and peaceful moments. I'm also quite independent, so I won't be underfoot. But, I'll always be there when you need a friend. I like to think of myself as a low-maintenance companion. I won't demand constant attention, but I'll always appreciate your company. I believe we could make a great team, you and I. Adopt me and let's prove that together, we can create a beautiful friendship.

Story
Charlie is a black and white male and might remind you of a pirate as his right eye has been removed.  His estimated birth date is 4/29/2021 and he came to us weighing about 10 lbs.  He was rescued by a very nice lady from a bad environment and was previously treated for an eye infection.  After a review of his medical records and in clinic inspection, our veterinarian team felt it would be best to completely remove the eye and any remaining infection so that a new owner would not have to deal with any eye issues when he is adopted.  He is getting along just fine with having vision in only one eye because he didn’t have vision in the removed eye at all.  He is friendly and active and will make a good companion possibly with one other cat or with human companions. He was microchipped before coming into StreetCats and he has a NanoTryFi microchip which the new owner will need to register (at no charge).  All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  StreetCats adoption fee - $75; if 65 years or older the adoption fee is $65.  StreetCats is located at 3105 S. Winston Ave. (one block west of 31st & Yale) in Tulsa.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.
