Story
Meet Jenny!Being a beautiful blue baby in a litter of orange kittens, Jenny has always stood out. She is a special girl who has taken a little longer than her siblings to come out of her shell in her foster home…But the wait has been worth it!This three-month-old kitten is finally blossoming into a loving, cuddly cat. Jenny is still endearingly shy, but her gentle purrs are charming once they start! She was born outside, so she’ll do best in a quiet home with a family who understands she’s still learning about the wonderful perks of living inside. And Jenny would love another kitty in her home to help her learn more about being a cat! This gorgeous girl will be a great addition to a loving home this holiday season!*Our cats are looking for indoor only homes.*All Paws Rescue cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for FELV/FIV, dewormed, and have received all vaccines for their age (some kittens may still need future boosters). Story
Please consider rescuing or fostering this sweet guy and give him a loving home! This beautiful guy has such a sweet personality and is looking for a loving home to call his own! He’s a very tame and friendly stray that showed up one day and has decided to stay. He desperately wants in the house but unfortunately I am unable to take him in due to the 2 rescues I have and they are not accepting him. I’ve had no luck finding an owner and want to find him a safe loving indoor forever home before the extreme cold weather sets in. He loves to be pet and I can pick him up with no issues. I have taken him into my garage at night during some very cold nights and provided a litter box that he used with no problem. I have taken him to be neutered and got all up to date shots. Please be a hero for this kitty!

Story
My name is Pip and I was born in a PAWS foster home on 4/9/22. My mom was a free roaming cat that had had a few litters in an area that wasn't very safe for kittens so her caretaker surrendered her, when she was pregnant with me) to PAWS-OK.  I am very independent and curious but also very active.  My foster mom says I really wanted to be a dog because I "bark" more than I "meow" - some people think I am upset when they hear me but it really gets your attention (which is what I want!).   I was adopted with my sister when I was about 6 months old and the very next day we both came back to PAWS-OK because we had "too much energy" for our new owners.  I don't care for carriers very much - I like big areas where I can stretch my legs and run and play.   I need a cat savvy home because I can be a little hard headed (like about going into a crate???) with a family who will love me for my bold attitude. Please fill out a Adoption Request Form if you are interested in adopting me! PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at  https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form .  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.  October 22, 2024, 12:24 am

Story
Jelly Bean was adopted in 2015 with her sister, Cupcake to an older couple and returned to PAWS in January 2023 due to her owners illness. She is a little bit shy at first with new people and is currently 18 pounds. Jelly Bean could use an owner who understands portion control and the health benefits that "Bean" will see if she is able to shed a few pounds including being more active, more comfortable and easier to carry! She is on a portion control diet of 2 dry kibble only meals per day now in her foster home and has adjusted to it just fine. She would do best in a quiet home with no dogs and possibly as an only cat. She hasn't had a good reaction to other cats in her foster home despite being raised with her sister.
