Much like his famous namesake, Wilford Brimley (Brim) comes with a deep, soothing purr that could probably sell you oatmeal or read you a bedtime story. The moment you touch him—or better yet, bring him food—he rumbles like a bass note. Wilford Brimley the cat is an absolute people’s cat. He loves to be brushed, petted, cuddled, and adored by anyone willing to give him attention (kids included!). His “diabeetus” is well-managed these days by diet... and no longer requires insulin shots. That said, he’s a chow hound who can’t be trusted with an open buffet. He’ll eat any food in sight faster than you can say “Quaker Oats”, so he needs a family who can help him stick to his special diet. Gourdo is a 8 month old petite black kitten wih a sweet personality and just the right amount of playful kitten energy. This handsome little guy is still learning that indoor life is pretty great. and each day he becomes a little more confident and curious about the world around him. Gourdo loves attention and will ask for pets and scratches when he is in the mood. He is also quite talkative and will chat with you about his day, which adds to his charm. He uses the litter box like a pro and even tolerates nail trimmings without a fuss...such a good boy! Gourdo enjoys playing, he gets long wonderfully with other cats and does just fine with dogs too. Because he enjoys feline company so much, he would likely thrive in a home with another friendly cat to help build his confidence. Since he is still adjusting to indoor life, he can be shy at first and may hide until he feels safe, but once things are calm and cozy, he is happy to come out and explore. Gourdo is not a huge fan of being picked up yet, he will tolerate it and he continues to grow more comfortable every day. Sometimes, she will lay right on your lap when you’re sitting on the couch. She enjoys dangly toys and batting small balls around. When she gets the zoomies, she will trill and run around the house. She has lived with other cats since her adoption, and does fine with them. I think she would prefer to be an only cat or be with other chill, gentle cats.
