Meet Melrose, this adorable one year old cat was rescued locally here in Massachusetts. This pretty lady is very sweet and entertaining. Whether it`s making us laugh by zoomin` across the floor, or making us smile watching her come running for treats, Melrose is always lifting our spirits in one way or another! At first she took some time to warm up to new people, but Melrose has made so much progress since coming to CAAA, and she now boasts her friendly, goofy attitude to everyone she meets pretty quickly! She still wouldn`t mind going home to a place that`s quiet and has lots of comfy spaces for her to take naps and be on her own when she chooses to be. Although this sweet girl loves her naps, she also loves her play time. You’ll often find her zooming around with her toy mice and she really enjoys playing with interactive toys as well. Melrose is a big fan of snacks, whether that’s crunchy ones or Churu sticks! She enjoys staff going into her condo to do their work while she takes her naps by their feet and asks for pets. Melrose is a special needs adoption because she is FIV+, and given this she will need to be an indoor only cat. However, this doesn`t mean that she can`t go to a home that has other kitties and she would, in fact, love a friend to play with her! Melrose is a popular girl with the other kitties here at the shelter, and she does fabulous with everyone, young and old. Her friends have really helped to bring her out of her shell and get her movin`! Meet Rascal! This big lump of handsomeness came to us pretty scared and shut down. With a slow and respectful approach, he’s been warming up to us and is showing us that our patience is worth it! Camilla is a super sweet girl she is great with kids we have a 5 year old daughter that she adores, she would prefer to be the only pet in the home she is not a big fan of our animals at home.
