Story
Meet Luca, a super cute and friendly little guy looking for some new digs. He's super playful, and with slow introductions he would get along in any home. If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Story
Are you looking for a quiet yet affectionate boy who has pep in his step? One who enjoys just spending a leisurely day surrounded by friends and family? How about a kitty who likes to learn tricks? Then Temon is your guy! Temon is an indoor kitty who gets along with children, other felines and dogs. This boy just can't get enough petting and while you can hold him for a bit, he gets nervous and he'll wiggle his way out. When it comes to playtime, Temo liked swatting wand toys, splashing water and romping around with the cats and dogs in his last family. Unfortunately, his person became terribly allergic to him, so Temon is optimistically looking forward to starting a new life...maybe it's with you. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! Story
Meet Bonnie. This sweet and affectionate girl wants nothing more than your love, and will great you at the door when you come home for work. She can be a bit vocal when you first leave for the day, but she starts to relax and will play around the house and take her cat naps. Here's what her foster had to say about her: "She's so sweet! She is pretty low-maintenance and just wants a friend to hang out with. I think she appreciates a quiet life but does enjoy a good play-session and a blast around the house. Her intense cuddle sessions are also enough to make you melt. She's got so much heart ready to give." This cat has a medical condition that will require a low stress environment to reduce the possibility of any flare-ups. This cat does require a prescription diet from a veterinarian.
