Story
Meet our charming and friendly 1-year-old heartthrob! This handsome fellow has had a urinary blockage in the past, making him a bit more prone to future blockages. But don`t worry—he`s been happy and healthy since being in our care. He loves to be picked up and snuggled and is a DREAM at vet visits. He just needs a special diet and a loving, observant adopter with a keen eye to keep him happy and healthy in the future. If you`re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion, he`s your guy! Adopt him today and enjoy a lifetime of purrs and cuddles. Meowzer is now part of our extended stay club! Since he`s been here for longer, his adoption fee has been reduced so that hopefully he can find a home sooner! You can apply for him at capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Hi there everyone, my name is Francis and I am for sure your new best friend. Being 7 years young, I am ready to finally find my forever place to call home. I am a sweet gal who is looking for a quiet home where I can get all the love and attention. I’m not sure about you, but I am a huge fan of taking naps. If there’s a comfy bed or blanket, that’s where you’ll find me. I do enjoy having conversations with my human friends here while they’re making my food or cleaning my litter box. Loud noises tend to make me nervous so I will go find somewhere to hide until it’s stopped. I am considered a special needs adoption because I am prone to getting kitty colds more often. If you have a cozy home and windows for me to sunbathe in, consider applying for me today. I`m available to meet by appointment only! Here at Cape Ann Animal Aid, senior cats used to spend an average of 46 days waiting for adoption. In an effort to help Francis find a home faster, we are waiving her adoption fee as part of our Super Seniors Adoption Program.Fill out an application for Francis here! https://www.capeannanimalaid.org/adopt.html

Story
Oh hello there my sweet friends, my name is Daisy and I am a 3 year old gal who was found locally here in Massachusetts. I am a calm girl who just wants to take naps and eat some food! I enjoy getting attention from my human friends here at the shelter and am ready to lounge on the couch with you on lazy Sundays… or every day of the week, I don’t judge. Having a nice window to enjoy some sunbathing and bird watching is my main priority. A nice lowkey home sounds like it’s best for me. If you think I sound like we are well suited for one another, fill out an application for me and come down to visit once your application has been approved! Since I`ve been here for a little while, I`m now part of the extended stay club which means I have a reduced adoption fee in hopes that I can find a home sooner rather than later! I look forward to meeting you soon! You can apply for her at capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Apollo, our handsome two-year-old male cat with an adorable grey and white coat and long, elegant white whiskers! Found and taken into care, Apollo is now looking for his forever home. He seemed a bit fearful around the toddler in his previous home, so we recommend a home with older children where he can feel safe and secure. Apollo would do well in a low-traffic home and wouldn`t mind being the only pet in the home where he can get all the love and attention he very much deserves.. If you`re looking for a charming and loving companion, Apollo is ready to be your new best friend! He is now part of our extended stay club! Since he`s been here for longer, his adoption fee has been reduced so that hopefully he can find a home sooner! Fill out an application for him here! capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Tesla, our adorable almost six-year-old black and white beauty with a personality that’s as striking as her coat! Originally adopted from us in 2019, Tesla is back with us after her owner could no longer take care of her. Tesla has a quirky habit of giving love bites when she’s getting attention because she just can’t contain her excitement! Because of this, we think she’d do best in a home without young kids. If you’re looking for a fun and affectionate companion with a dash of spunk, Tesla is the purrfect match for you! Here at Cape Ann Animal Aid, senior cats used to spend an average of 46 days waiting for adoption. Story
Selma is sleeping on the bed and purring when petted. She is food motivated and weight about 14 pounds and is losing weight quickly. She and her sister lived in a room and like to hide but you can win them over by petting them for a quick purr or feeding them treats. They have been to the vet for their spay, shots and always use their litter box. They need a quiet home, but are coming out of their shells. They are extremely bonded and will sit on top of each other causing you to wonder if the bottom cat can breathe. If you are interested in loving these two fatties, contact Jill at 978-969-2389 or dsajill1@yahoo.com

Prince Charming is living the dream, sleeping on his favorite bean bag chair in his foster home. He enjoys playing with a string toy and saying hello with a finger to his nose. He even likes to be petted. An experienced adopter is good, but anyone with a quiet, adult only home will enjoy his presence. He becomes more snuggly every day.
