Meet Connor!Connor has been with us for a LONG time...over 100+ days. He's a young guy at about two and a half years old and has already been neutered. Here's the thing: Connor is special needs. He has an injury to his spinal cord; most likely an old injury that never healed correctly. We're not sure how he got this injury or when, but we do know that it can cause him some significant pain. Luckily, we've found a regimen that works well for him. He will need daily oral pain medication to keep him comfortable...and it definitely works! He's back to playing and trying to climb furniture with the best of them!In his new home, Connor should be restricted from excessive jumping as much as possible. We're also trying to steer clear of homes with lots of stairs. He does NOT do well with dogs, no matter how small they are. He LOVES kittens, though! He loves sharing his room with babies and is absolutely captivated by them. He also seems to do best with female cats. He is not a fan of most other male cats.This boy is the type of guy that will ALWAYS be happy to see you. He is always purring, always trying to get your attention, and is always happy to give you headbutts and cheek rubs. Jasper suffers from what appears to be feline herpes, so he has days where he is congested and sneezes often. Loves to be in your lap, LOVES food, but has a sensitive stomach and eats too fast around other animals so she is fed in her own room. loves to be brushed, will snuggle at night. loves to be on top of soft blanket piles, and under beds. very curious and mentally engaged. looking for a home that can cater to sensitive tummy and asthma. very loyal companion, she will follow you everywhere in the house. indoor cat ONLY. not a big fan of outside, does okay with car rides in crate. never shown aggression of any sort. I love her dearly but cannot provide her best care anymore to give her the best quality of life possible. Would love to get her into a loving home that keeps me updated with pictures and keeping in touch!
