Story
Smokey is 7 year old domestic indoor male Tuxedo cat - he is lovable and extremely smart! Tuxedo cats are known for their intelligence and he is no exception. Smokey is very healthy, he's never been sick (in fact there are no known deceases for Tuxedo cats). He's very curious, likes to know everything going on around him and wants to be part of the conversation! Smokey is a rare find, he is affectionate and very well trained - no scratching of furniture and knows where his litter box is. He does have a sister whom I adopted as a kitten at the same time (though technically not related, they seemed to have a very special bond at the shelter so I adopted both of them) - her name is Puddin and she is also listed on this site. I have to relocate and cannot take my cats with me. It breaks my heart - I just want to find him a loving and caring home.

Story
I rescued Bella when she was about a month old, she was found in Vermont abandoned by her mother, we don't know why. She's almost 18 months now and she's a love! She's very gentle and interested in everything. She has two older siblings (Puddin and Smokey) so she's used to being around cats. She's very playful and funny to watch. She still has that "kitten" curiosity but is beginning to understand her name and the words "no" and "get down please" (lol). I am relocating and hoping to find her a loving home.

Story
Spirit cats are very shy with people, and live in your home but are rarely seen – hence their name. They are cats who coexist in your home, and sometimes may grant you the opportunity to touch them – or they may not. Despite being shy with people, spirit cats are usually great with other cats! They are used to living with many cats, and can make excellent companions for cats in your home. It’s not uncommon for a spirit cat to get used to one or two people over time, and those people will be allowed to touch them and they may even choose to hang out near you or sleep on your bed at night. They are a great choice for people with a quiet household, who want to make a difference for an individual cat. Patience and understanding are the best tools when welcoming a spirit cat into your home. It’s important to know that spirit cats won’t magically turn into a normal acting cat – what you see is what you get for a long time, maybe always. They are a fine choice for situations where you don’t have a lot of time to devote to a pet as they don’t require a lot of attention from humans. They are not a good choice for a busy home, including those with small children.
