Junior was initially slated to be a barn cat but after being with us for a bit we realized that he had potential and would prefer the indoor life! Junior is approximately 2 years old and is still a little rough around the edges. He loves cheek scratches and treats. He will swat if he wants more love and will give a warning bite if you dare touch his belly. He loves to curl up next to us at night and watch birds during the day. Junior would prefer to be the only cat in the home. He has been ok with our old husky but older kids only (12+) due to his need for ongoing manner refinement. Sunny and Emmett are still searching for their forever home!! This bonded pair are 5 months old and the absolute sweetest. Sunny is outgoing, a purring machine, and always looking for a lap to curl up in. Emmett is shy and will need a little extra time to adjust to a new home and new people. MEET ARCHER AND BLAZE! (aka tweedle Dee and tweedle Dum!!). What their foster has to say about them. These bonded twins are a fun energetic duo who embody the archetype of one of my favorite childhood poems. Tweedle tenacious (dee) is much more outgoing and curious and playful and personable at the outset, looking for play and interaction, but not one to settle in for a snuggle unless he’s in the mood. Tweedle trepidatious (dum) is happy to take up residence on your lap or tucked into a cozy sunny nook while his brother instigates play. Except, just as in the duel nature of the archetype, they will switch rolls just when I’m convinced I’ve got their personalities figured out. They quickly acclimated to the company of the big dog in my house and are becoming more confident by the day in their surroundings.
