Story
Big Bear is one of the most energetic and playful kitties we know! This long and lean, all-black boy with the big green eyes is just over 1 year old and came in with his buddy, Sam, when their former owner was moving and unfortunately couldn't take the cats with them. He can be skittish with people he doesn’t know or in new surroundings, but he is friendly and inquisitive, and responds well to patient, gentle attention. Bear would do best in a calm home with experienced, cat-savvy adopters who will both help him continue to build his confidence as well as give him lots of quality, interactive playtime. Since he gets along well with the other cats in his room, we think he would enjoy living in a household with another friendly, active cat. Story
If you love the beauty of white cats, then Skye Whyte is a boy that you need to think about giving a home to.  Very little is known about Skye's earliest days but he was found near a college town and adopted by some amazing young men who took care of his vetting and loved him very much. Unfortunately, they were not allowed to keep him and had a very tearful parting at his foster home. Skye Whyte is a gentle and sensitive soul. He displays no aggression, but is very timid and prefers to be held in a blanket which is his favorite thing in the world. He currently prefers to eat his pate’ meal from a spoon while being held. Skye would do best in a home where someone can give him frequent but short bursts of attention while he adjusts. Though it took several days to become friends, Skye and his owner surrendered foster brother are often found in close proximity of each other birdwatching. Skye's hobbies include snuggling while being wrapped in a blanket and looking out the window from his enclosed cat bed. This is a boy that will be someone’s constant companion in life and will be totally close by  to receive and give all the love you would ever want.  He is a few years old and a settled and easy boy to have around, not to mention handsome.  If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please mention where you live:  city and state.   We transport from Tennessee if you are out of state in the northeast. February 18, 2025, 10:11 pm

Story
MEET BARNEY!A note from my foster mom; Barney is the sweetest girl. She is very nervous but with time and love warms right up! She doesn`t like to be picked up and is a very independent girl. She has never met a cat treat she didn`t like or a toy she didn`t want to play with. She loves chasing a mouse toy and has recently gotten into playing with wand toys too -- now that she feels braver and more confident. Sometimes she hisses, but then as soon as you start to pet her she purrs louder than any other cat I`ve ever met. I think her ideal house would be quiet with a brave cat friend to help her feel comfortable, but I also think she could adapt to a variety of home dynamics, as long as she had a space that felt like her own where she could get some alone time.
