Story
Meet Baby, a little lady who’s ready to find a peaceful, loving home. When she first arrived at the shelter as a stray, she required immediate medical care, and our dedicated team got her back on track, helping her feel her best. Baby sometimes finds the shelter’s hustle and bustle overwhelming and often retreats to her cozy cubby for a bit of peace. But once she has time to warm up, this sweet girl reveals her affectionate side and truly enjoys quiet snuggles.Baby has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus, so she’ll need to be the only cat in her home—unless her new feline friend is also FeLV+. Because of her special needs, her new family should have an established relationship with a veterinarian. We also recommend using “good judgment” when introducing her to respectful kids and cat-savvy dogs. If you`re looking for a gentle, devoted companion, Baby may be the one for you!

Story
Meet Ash, a sweet and gentle senior who is ready to find her cozy retirement home. When Ash first arrived at BHS in rough shape, our dedicated team provided the care she needed to get back to feeling her best, including thorough medical testing to ensure her golden years are healthy and happy. Now, she’s looking for a quiet home where she can spend her days basking in sunny spots and soaking up love.Ash enjoys snuggling and sharing her soothing purrs, and while she’s mellow, her enthusiasm for mealtime is sure to make you smile! Due to her age and limited history as a stray, we recommend `good judgment` when introducing her to calm, cat-savvy dogs, respectful teens, or other laid-back pets. Her adopters must have an established vet relationship to help her stay in tip-top shape. If you’re searching for a peaceful and loving companion, Ash would be thrilled to share her golden years with you!

Story
Cobra and Anaconda are a bonded pair looking to go home together! We are recommending them go to a laid back home and have the potential to go with older kiddos who can respect their space when needed. They are considered “good judgment” with other feline friends and calm cat-savvy dogs. While this duo may not be the first to welcome you with open paws, it`s essential to understand that they are navigating a world filled with unfamiliar faces and constant commotion. Their reserved demeanor is a way of coping with the stress of shelter life. If you`re open to take on the challenge of winning over these little rascals, you might find yourself with lifelong companions.
