Story
Hi, I’m Thorfinn, a ten-month-old male kitten (as of April 2023, but 5 mos when my pics were taken). I’m an equally snuggly and playful kitty, looking for my forever home. I love being active - whether that’s playtime with my foster kitty siblings (like my twin Sasappis) or my toys. I love toys of all kinds and can’t wait to show off my chasing and pouncing skills. After a hard day of play, there’s nothing I want more than to cuddle up with my people on the couch or in bed. I do well around other cats and dogs and am very people-oriented and social, making friends instantly. I’ll come to your home litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. If I sound like the purrfect addition to your home, email rockcityrescue@gmail.com with your name and phone number.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Luisa is an approximately 1-year-old (as of April 2023) cat who was rescued with her three litter mates snugly tucked in behind a flower box in an unsuspecting family's backyard.  She is short and stout with stunning tabby markings and some gorgeous big eyes!  She hasn’t been around dogs thus far in her life but I don’t think it would be an issue for her.  Not one not to pester a cat that doesn’t want to be bothered, but she adores her adult foster brother and is never far out of his shadow. She likes to be part of the action laying near her people and sleeping on the bed with them most nights but prefers pets on her terms.   I'm sure she would great companion for a lonely singular cat or a person who doesn’t try to push her too much with cuddling.  She comes to you litter box trained, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this gorgeous girl. Email the cat's name and phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Persimmon is approximately 1-year-old of April 2023 whose shiny coal-black coat really stands out in a crowd!  He is a sweet-tempered and sensitive type who was scared of his new surroundings at first but within the span of 2-3 weeks, he was all over the house and coming around his foster mom for attention and scratches by his tail.  Lately, he has with the cold weather he has become quite the snuggle bug wanting to lay on his person's lap with his favorite foster sister almost every time she sits down.  He hasn’t been around dogs very much but I believe with a proper introduction of a friendly dog and lots of patience, it should not be a problem.  In addition, he gets along well with other cats both young and adults.  He would certainly enjoy a similar-aged or friendly adult cat to tussle with as he enjoys spirited playtime with his foster siblings, but he also plays independently quite well.  He comes to you litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this dashing young man!August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Daisy is a cuddling people pleaser! Daisy is positive for FELV. She would need to be the only cat. Unless the other felines are felv positive also. She will need to be an indoor cat because of felv. We recently brought home two dogs and have now realized that Daisy will never be comfortable in our main living space. She has been in our basement since end of July 2025. We really enjoy her talking to us but we have to go downstairs into the basement to see her and I feel she would live a better life being pet constantly and having access to sunlight! She loves attention and always rolls around showing her beautiful white belly. She has been around our three children and gets along great with our male cat. She won't come upstairs to play because our dogs go nuts seeing her. She has become a recluse and it pains me! Please give our Daisy love and space without doggies!

Story
You've found your cat! We unfortunately need to rehome our cat, Acadia, we are moving overseas in a military move and the base is not allowing him. He is an absolutely handsome cat and he knows it. Lounging around all day and requesting belly rubs on his primordial pouch are some of his favorite things. He is active loves to play and still sprints around like he has for years (especially on catnip). I think he will find comfort in his new home quickly, he has been around other cats, kids and dogs and he is shy at first but once he is comfortable he will cuddle and sit with you all day. He would make a great fit for really any family type and build but think he would be ideally situated with one other cat or solo, because he does just want to lounge with someone during the day. He does have an updated rabies shot (1 year) on 9/29/2025, but he has always been an indoor cat. He is going to be the perfect addition to your house.

Story
Meet Maeve! This sweet girl has raised her last litter of kittens and she is now ready to be queen of someone’s home! She Loves to be petted, ok with other cats who respect her boundaries, she loves to lay next you and be petted and will purr non stop and how gorgeous are those eyes! Our best guess at her age is 2 or 3. She is a sweet mellow girl just wanting to have someone to love! And to love them back! Good with other cats and fine with older kids. 💚 If interested, please complete the adoption questionnaire found here: https://feralfelines.net/.../FoFF_adoption-_application... and email to foffadoptions@yahoo.com
