Story
Meet Daisy! This beautiful soul is looking for her new fur-ever home after her previous guardians unfortunately could no longer keep her. She previously lived in a home with other cats so may be fine with a new feline friend with proper, very slow introductions. Initially she might be nervous and growly with other cats. Daisy is a bit shy at first with new people and in a new environment, but if you give her lots of loving reassurance, a quiet place to hide when she feels nervous, tasty treats and time to adjust, she will eventually come out of her shell and show you her sweet, loving side. We're not sure if she's ever been around children so young kids may be a bit too much for her. Older, calm, cat savvy kids may be fine.Overall this sweet girl will make a lovely companion in the right home. Could this calm, sweet lady be the one for you?If you are interested in adopting, you can come by the Kelowna Adoption Centre. We're open to the Public Tuesday to Saturday Noon - 4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). Walk ins are welcome.Or you can apply on line at:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 4.34 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Meet BirdyThis handsome boy is playful, great with other cats and dogs, and LOVES treats and dinner time. Birdy came to the SPCA as a stray kitten, and over time while he was growing we learnt that Birdy most likely has dwarfism as he has grown very little over the months we have had him in our care. Due to the lack of growth we have discovered he can have discomfort due to some sacrum abnormalities and is being treated for pain relief with Gabapentin which may be needed for his entire life.Birdy has also been diagnosed with being mostly blind, only able to see shapes and some light. It would be great if Birdy could be trained with a bell and other vocal cues to help him manoeuvre around. Birdy will need a home that can help him with his special needs and understand he will need support for this for his entire life. His foster has already started to train him with vocal cues and he is learning quickly!Birdy is currently in a foster home so please apply through the SPCA Website.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 1.35 Age: 0yrs 4mths 2wks
