Story
Meet Daisy! This beautiful soul is looking for her new fur-ever home after her previous guardians unfortunately could no longer keep her. She previously lived in a home with other cats so may be fine with a new feline friend with proper, very slow introductions. Initially she might be nervous and growly with other cats. Daisy is a bit shy at first with new people and in a new environment, but if you give her lots of loving reassurance, a quiet place to hide when she feels nervous, tasty treats and time to adjust, she will eventually come out of her shell and show you her sweet, loving side. We're not sure if she's ever been around children so young kids may be a bit too much for her. Older, calm, cat savvy kids may be fine.Overall this sweet girl will make a lovely companion in the right home. Could this calm, sweet lady be the one for you?If you are interested in adopting, you can come by the Kelowna Adoption Centre. We're open to the Public Tuesday to Saturday Noon - 4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). Walk ins are welcome.Or you can apply on line at:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 4.34 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Meet BirdyThis handsome boy is playful, great with other cats and dogs, and LOVES treats and dinner time. Birdy came to the SPCA as a stray kitten, and over time while he was growing we learnt that Birdy most likely has dwarfism as he has grown very little over the months we have had him in our care. Due to the lack of growth we have discovered he can have discomfort due to some sacrum abnormalities and is being treated for pain relief with Gabapentin which may be needed for his entire life.Birdy has also been diagnosed with being mostly blind, only able to see shapes and some light. It would be great if Birdy could be trained with a bell and other vocal cues to help him manoeuvre around. Birdy will need a home that can help him with his special needs and understand he will need support for this for his entire life. His foster has already started to train him with vocal cues and he is learning quickly!Birdy is currently in a foster home so please apply through the SPCA Website.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 1.35 Age: 0yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Puck is a charismatic and independent cat who's looking for a home where he can live life on his own terms. Brought in as a stray, we don't know much about Puck's past, but we do know one thing for sure-he's a true bachelor at heart! Puck prefers to be the only pet in the household, as he's not a fan of other cats or animals. He's a solo act who thrives on attention from his favourite humans, but he's not one to share the spotlight.Puck can be a little spicy at times, and he's the kind of cat who likes his space and will let you know when he's had enough. That being said, once Puck feels comfortable and trusts you, he can be a total sweetheart. He's a big fan of chin scritches and loves spending time with his people, especially when he's in the mood for affection.A very chatty cat, Puck will keep you entertained with his vocalizations and unique personality. He's always ready to share his thoughts, whether he's asking for attention or just having a conversation. Puck is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can be the centre of attention and enjoy life on his own terms. If you're an experienced cat owner who appreciates a cat with a strong sense of independence and a lot of personality, Puck could be your perfect match! Story
Meet Gingerbread! This little doll came into our care as a young kitten along with her 6 siblings and has been in foster care ever since. However, all the siblings have now found their furever homes, leaving just Gingerbread and Macaroon still searching. Gingerbread can be a little bit shy initially but once you give her time, she shows you just how sweet she is with all of her purrs. She loves her wand toys and cat trees, and also loves snuggling in a warm bed with her sister.Kittens need lots of attention and a safe environment for them to grow into great pets. Like any baby, Gingerbread is constantly learning. Story
This is Floyd. Floyd recently came to us as a stray and appears to have been on his own for some time. He wasn't feeling great when he came in, but already has improved so much. He does have some broken teeth and is awaiting dental surgery, but would love to find a "foster-to-adopt" home while he waits. This means he could spend time in his forever home prior to surgery and as he heals - then when he gets the green light from the vet that he is all healed up, he could be officially adopted. Floyd loves to be loved. He is a total lap cat and will take all the attention you're willing to give him. You can often find Floyd standing in the door and meowing at any passerbys to try and coax them into his room for a visit. If you're interested in this sweet gentle boy, please fill out an online application below:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Silver Tabby Weight: 6.5 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks
