Once she knows you she loves to be scratched on the chin and behind the ears. She also likes hanging out on the couch with people. This pretty little tuxedo, Philly, is ready to find her purr-ever home. Philly came to the SPCA with several other cats rescued from a rural property. She was a good mother to a litter of kittens when she came in and spent a few weeks in foster care raising them. They are now off to find their own homes while Philly looks for hers. She hasn't really had a proper home before and can be anxious at first in a new environment, retreating and hiding until she feels comfortable. Because she can be a bit anxious at first she would do best in a quiet home without young children. She would, however, likely do very well in a home with another feline friend or two to show her the ropes as she is used to living with other cats. This pretty lady just needs a loving, patient, and gentle guardian who will show her lots of love and help her blossom in her new world.
