Story
Hello there! I'm Nightfury!I came into the BC SPCA's care as a stray and quickly captured the hearts of the staff with my sweet personality and affectionate head bumps. I'm all about giving kisses and gentle love nibbles, and I take treats with the utmost care. Scratches, nose boops, and plenty of attention? Yes, please!I'm a big guy (food is my love language!) and could stand to shed a few pounds, but that doesn't slow me down one bit. At 11 years young, I may have a few years behind me, but I still have plenty of energy and enjoy playful moments, alongside my cozy cat naps. While in foster I have been introduced to other cats and a dog, I'm quite indifferent and I enjoy having a safe space to retreat to. With slow introductions I could happily co-exist with your resident pets.If I sound like your perfect companion, please fill out an application below-I'm currently enjoying life in my foster home!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 7.93 Age: 11yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
She's as cute as she is sassy!Adorable little Cali is a curious, confident and playful little kitten who would likely do well with a playful kitten companion! Currently Cali is in foster and this is what her foster mom has to say about her " She has settled in quickly and is super affectionate, and needy girl. She slept on our bed most of the night and was very curious with our Border Collie, eventually approaching her to touch noses! She is a confident, curious and a playful kitten and she comes when you call her. She loves human attention and seems to like hanging out in whatever room I'm in. She is a delight! She is very interested in cat TV" Do you need a little help waking up each morning? Cali is known to be the best 5am alarm clock you could ask for! Unfortunately this is one of the reasons she was surrendered into our care, she needs a home with lots of space and enrichment to keep her happy! Though with every day in her foster home and the more she's settling has her sleeping inCali seems to be a little sensitive with touch along her back, this could be because she's a sassy little lady or this could be related to a food allergy. Future adopters will need to monitor this, and provide continue vet care to rule out food or other allergens. Cali is currently in foster and therefore unavailable for walk in meet and greets, to start the process of meeting and adopting her, follow the link below to submit your application. Story
Sgt Sammy here reporting for duty! Her mission? To find a fur-ever home!Sgt Sammy is a very sweet and majestic kitty that would love to find a calmer home to settle into. She can be quite shy in new situations and around new people, however does quickly warm up once she's comfortable! Her current foster dad says she will come and greet him when he walks into her room and has quite the purr on her! While quiet and petite in nature, she has a whole lot of love and personality to bring to her new family. Her coat is incredibly unique as at first glance she may appear to be all black, but if you look closely you'll see this amazing smokey tabby pattern! This girl is beautiful and she knows it! As a young mom, Sgt Sammy is still learning what life is like to be spoiled all on her own! Now that her kittens are all grown up, she's ready for a nice home to retreat to. She may get along with another cat with a slow and positive introduction period. If Sgt Sammy seems like a fit for you, please apply at the link provided: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Please note that Sammy is in a foster home awaiting her fur-ever family. Appointments will be made based on the applications that are sent in. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Smoke Weight: 3.33 Age: 2yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
Meet sweet Phoebe! This sweetheart of a mom, and a beautiful, rare orange tabby female is ready to leave her babies behind and find a place where she can settle down and build a new life for herself. Phoebe is used to an indoor/outdoor cat but would prefer to be indoor only moving forward as she enjoys the comforts of indoor living and a cozy bed to curl up in. If you have a catio, it would be a great alternative by providing a safe and enriching outdoor experience. She loves a good chin scratch and will purr up a storm when petted! She'd likely do well with another cat with a nice and slow introduction. Phoebe is currently in foster and therefore unavailable for walk in meet and greets.
