Story
Simba is a 3 1/2-year-old male domestic long-haired cat with a gorgeous, flowing orange coat that radiates warmth and charm. With his gentle nature and kind eyes, Simba has a knack for winning over hearts wherever he goes. Known for his affectionate personality, Simba loves nothing more than to snuggle up close and enjoy long cuddle sessions with his favorite humans. Simba’s endearing and gentle nature makes him a loyal and devoted companion. Whether he’s nestled beside someone on the couch or basking in a patch of sunlight, Simba is a source of comfort and joy. With his warm personality and sweet disposition, Simba brings a sense of calm and happiness to every home he graces, making him an irreplaceable friend and cherished member of the family. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Story
Approximate DOB 11-1-14 Jolie is as sweet as can be! She was found as a stray and was suffering from some skin issues from her outside exposure. Jolie was clearly once well loved based on her loving disposition and she had extensive dental work (she's missing all her teeth but she has no problems eating!) She also appears to have a permanently broken and bent ear. Despite her scruffy appearance, you cannot meet Jolie and not instantly fall in love. She loves to be held and petted and would love a warm lap to spend her days on. Despite her age she's active and engaged. She also LOVES her flower bed and it comes with her adoption!

Story
Meet Looney, the sweetest three-year-old cuddle bug you’ll ever meet! We rescued Looney as a timid kitten from a shed in Arizona, and with a little patience, he blossomed into a playful, loving, and loyal companion. Looney has a fun-loving personality—he’s always up for a cuddle or a game! He’s lived harmoniously with our calm cat, so we know he’ll do well with another laid-back feline friend. Looney is fantastic around kids, too, but sadly, our 15-month-old daughter has developed an allergy that has worsened over time, and with another baby on the way, we’re heartbroken but hopeful to find Looney a loving new home. He’s litter-box trained (he’s even familiar with a Litter-Robot!), up-to-date on all his shots, and eats mostly dry food, though he enjoys a little wet food juice. While Looney may be a bit shy at first, he warms up quickly and will soon be your best friend. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key companion, Looney could be the purr-fect addition to your family!
