Story
Chappell is a stunning long-haired tortoiseshell with a coat as unique and beautiful as her personality. Beneath her quiet demeanor lies a sweet soul who just needs the right home to help her come out of her shell. Like the soft warmth of a morning Coffee, Chappell brings a subtle but comforting presence to any room. She enjoys peaceful moments on her own, where she can feel safe and observe the world at her own pace. Though she might seem reserved at first, with patience and kindness, Chappell could transform into a companion who learns to trust and love deeply. She dreams of a home where she can trade her Love Me Anyway hesitations for unconditional acceptance and blossom into her full potential. Chappell is perfect for someone who appreciates a quiet and introspective feline friend. If you believe in giving a shy heart a chance, Chappell is ready to write a new chapter and let her true personality sing. Could she be the one to complete your story? Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Story
Hopscotch is a gentle Domestic Long Hair cat with a soft light grey and white coat. Known for her quiet and nervous nature, she takes time to warm up to new people and environments. At first, she may appear aloof, often retreating to a quiet corner to observe her surroundings from a distance. This shyness is not out of lack of affection, but simply because she needs time to feel safe and comfortable in her space. Hopscotch's reserved demeanor can make her seem distant, but those who are patient with her soon discover a sweet and tender soul beneath her cautious exterior. Once Hopscotch has warmed up to someone, her true personality shines through. She becomes an affectionate and cuddly companion, always seeking out moments of closeness and comfort. Her favorite thing is curling up next to her humans, purring softly as she nuzzles them. With a quiet, loving presence, Hopscotch shows that trust and patience are key to forming a deep bond. Although she may take her time, once she feels secure, she’s the sweetest, most loyal girl, offering the kind of gentle companionship that only those who take the time to understand her can truly appreciate. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Story
Estimated DOB: 6/4/24 Beautiful Poppy came to ACR in late summer after being rescued from a hoarding case in a nearby state. She was scared and wasn’t sure about humans. After spending time with her foster family, she learned quickly how amazing living indoors with loving people truly is. She’s a sweet girl who loves to play with all sorts of toys, especially toy springs. She loves soft cat beds and snuggling with her siblings. This sweet girl is looking for a forever home where she will continue to be spoiled and loved as she so deserves! Go to www.allcatsrescue.org/cat-adoption-application to apply to adopt, or email allcatsrescue@gmail.com for more information. Please note: Kittens who remain with a littermate or a similarly-aged companion are healthier, happier and better socialized. If you adopt littermates, not only will they keep each other entertained and happier, we'll also give you a reduced adoption fee! Please inquire if interested in adopting a sibling or foster buddy. All of our adoptable kitties are current on shots, microchipped, altered (if old enough), and litter box trained. (KL)

Story
Estimated DOB:06/26/2024 Danny is a beautiful boy who came to ACR from a nearby community. One of our volunteers was at a restaurant and when leaving saw this little kitten looking for food in the dumpster. When they went to investigate little Danny was sitting on the ground next to a deceased kitten. They knew they couldn’t leave Danny behind so they brought him home and contacted ACR about what happened. Of course we couldn’t say no. We knew he deserved a loving indoor forever home. Danny has been spending his days with his foster family and home daycare. He loves kids of all ages and often times he’s found hanging out while they’re busy building Lego towers. He also gets along great with other cats. He loves cat toys and enjoys tossing springs or mice around. He zooms through tunnels while chasing his friends and also likes interactive ball tower toys. Danny is looking for a forever home that will give him lots of attention and make him part of the family. He does require a fuzzy place to sleep and humans that like to snuggle. Danny does have a very slight case of CH (cerebellar hypoplasia). It’s a very slight case and rarely does his foster family notice. Once in awhile Danny has a wobbly walk to his back end. However is so slight it’s rarely noticed. Danny does great with stairs, jumping on couches, cat trees…his CH is so slight it doesn’t cause any issues or special needs around the house. A cerebellar hypoplasia cat is also known as a wobbly cat. This condition is one of the most common nervous system disorders in cats. It's caused by the underdevelopment or destruction of the cerebellum, a vital part of the brain. Although this can have many causes, the most frequent is the infection of a kitten in the womb with the feline parvovirus (also known as the feline infectious enteritis (FIE), feline distemper, and feline panleukopenia virus). Though an infection causes the condition, your cerebellar hypoplasia cat is not infectious to others. Story
Estimated DOB: 05/03/2023 Meet Sable! She is a beautiful long-haired black cat. She is a smart girl. She has learned how to sit and even taught herself how to fetch! Her favorite toys are puffy balls and catnip bananas, but she can make a toy out of pretty much anything! This girl is on the move most of the day, but she gets into her groove near the end of the evening. That's when she and her fellow foster sister, Spot, love to chase each other around the house. Sable does have her quiet moments and during those times she enjoys being curled up in a comfy cat bed. Every once and a while she will enjoy a lap cuddle. When you can get her to stay still she does enjoy pets and her motor will really start going! We’re still working on Sable’s manners. She wants to be in everything you’re doing and check out everything in the house. She’s a very confident girl and is hardly scared of anything. She’s always happy to meet new people and new animal friends. She wants to play with the resident cats a lot of the time even though they aren’t so interested in playing with her. We think she would be happy to have any type of furry friend in her future home and would do best with playmates. Sable is a big personality packed into a small body. She’ll keep you on your toes and bring many smiles to your face. Adopt Sable and bring some joy into your home! Go to www.allcatsrescue.org/cat-adoption-application to apply to adopt, or email allcatsrescue@gmail.com for more information. All of our adoptable kitties are current on shots, microchipped, altered (if old enough), and litter box trained. (NB)
